I'm mining now with a similar rig. But you should prop it up on blocks and put a fan blowing air under and over it so you don't burn it up. Check from time to time to make sure it's not hot to the touch. |

no. And you can get a used 64-bit Windows machine used for under 100 bucks. Maybe 50 on eBay. Not just for this. It's useful for a lot of things. |

so it looses connection but I keep seeing hashrate afterwards, is that just a sudden connection lost and reconnect then? coz print_cn shows a bunch of connections

It's not a virus. A lot of things that can mine cryptos are flagged as "potentially unsafe" because the file is new, the anti-vir hasn't encountered it yet (or much) and there are viruses that mine Bitcoin. |

Avast reports it as safe. I haven't tried all the anti-virus programs. Because they do this kind of stuff. They also ALWAYS report KeyGens as unsafe, even when they're not. Statist IP-law b.s., and FUD. |
