The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

The high staking reward (10000%) only started about 4 days ago and it will last about 80 days, so you're pretty early.

Are you sure the 10,000% will last for 80 days? Going by the announcement page, it lasts only 20,000 blocks and it's gonna take way less than 80 days to zip thru 20,000 blocks.

Check the block explorer, see the last 500 blocks, do the math Smiley

We are currently at block 61146.

It took 2 days and 3 hours for us to scale through the last 500 blocks.

If it takes 2 days to mint 500 blocks, then it takes 4 days to mint 1000 blocks.

Do the maths, it might take 80 days to do 20,000 blocks  (block 60k - 80k)

Thanks but how do I add them?

Go to Library/Application Support/B3-coinV2/b3coin.conf and add the text I showed before. If you don't have that file, just create it. (the folder should be there if you opened the wallet already)

I installed this wallet a while back and I've been wondering why even with nodes added from the explorer, It was always getting 1 connection. That's because I did my config file with wrong name. So Thank you for giving the proper config filename for this wallet. My wallet now have many connections to the network. Thanks to you.

Investing in a new coin/token via ICO requires trusting the cybersecurity practices of the company/project

Securecoin Capital just launched a service (in beta) to grade ICO's on their cybersecurity capabilities as part of creating awareness around #CryptoHygiene (https://www.securecoin.capital/cryptohygiene)

Every ICO will be given 1 of these 3 Grades for their cybersecurity capabilities
'A': best in class
'B': average
'F': sub-standard

You can subscribe to the #CryptoHygiene newsletter to get 10-15 cybersecurity grades/week for free (https://www.securecoin.capital/coins)

For members, they have created an on-demand service to request grading specific ICO's that need to be prioritized (https://www.securecoin.capital/gifts)

So before investing in an ICO - check its #CryptoHygiene
B3COIN is NOT an ICO coin.

B3COIN is NO PREMINE, NO INSTAMINE, NO ICO, NO IPO, NO DEV FUND BLOCK TAX.

The old B3COIN was created by joshafest as a NO PREMINE COIN, but Limx Dev needed to do a HARDCODED SWAP of the original coin to correct the POS rewards.

B3COIN is 100% POS. If you want to mine this coin, then you need to buy a few coins to stake them.

You're right.

I've just bought 20 coins this morning, for testing purposes.
My wallet is fully synced, and i have a green icon saying i'm now staking.
But it also tells me i should expect a reward in 59 seconds... although it told me 1 hour ago i should expect a reward in 1 min. Reminds me the way Microsoft Windows deals with "time" when copying files Cheesy
Perhaps 20 coins is a bit low to expect a reward in a short term ?

/Edit : yay ! 57 seconds till reward... tempus fugit (but slowly) ! Smiley

Well this indeed is a good bet for someone who needs some good profit in a short span of time but then having 20 coins for staking will give you nothing to be honest. By the time you would get into the competition, it will be over. So go and get something more and start staking for real.

How much would you be needing for a daily stake?

I wish i could, but the second part of my BTC deposit is stuck somewhere in the blockchain or in Cryptopia's pipes. So i have to wait.
It's the first time i use Cryptopia. Didn't trade on it before Smiley
Moreover, i don't want to rush while i'm a bit late for the show. As you stated before, the coin already pumped from 30k+ sat to 160k+ sat the day the hipos phase began, and i'd prefer not to hold valueless coins in case everything goes wrong for me :p

So it says I am staking and should get my reward every 24 seconds but it has been 16 hours and I've gotten nothing. Any idea?

That estimation is bugged, you need at least 24 hours to receive a stake with about 50 coins but I don't know the exact numbers. Once you go below 40-50 coins, it will take more days.

I think you'll need to create a b3coin.conf file in the folder where the wallet stores its files (C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\B3-CoinV2 for example) and fill this file with the masternodes list given in one of the previous replies.
