It's very hard to get staking reward now. My previous reward was just less than 2 days. And I haven't had any staking reward again since that time, and it's been 5 days now since that last time I had that staking reward. Cry

I've been staking a single block of 5k for 7 days now. No reward yet.

8 days =  nothing

Dev, can you turn B3 into a great Crypto that makes having all of these coins worth it?

Thanks

What does that even mean?
This is not a new coin; does not have anything to differentiate from any others, aside from the unique (limited/temp) staking rates (exponential factor) from 60-80k.
Barring that...maybe a solid community could hold it together (longer than expected) but these almost always end up in an ever descending trend - just don't know how long till that happens.

Hi,

Would anyone be interested if I created a POS mining pool for B3 and other coins so that we can share in the stakes without needing to buy large amounts of coins? Then I would take care of wallets, sync, forks etc.

Ian

I'd be interested unless a POS mining pool required moving coins to a 3rd party wallet.

In order to get the stakes working faster we need more coins in a wallet. If we pool our coins together into 1 wallet then we should get the daily stakes. How to do this without using a 3rd party wallet?

I am still trying to fully understand POS, but I thought it was created so no matter how much is in your wallet, whether it is 1.000 or 100.000, you get 10.000% return per year in this period (which amounts to something like 1,27% per day) on average. Average being the clue.

Am I completely wrong?

I have 1150 in my B3 wallet and no stake payment for 11 days. Large count of coin can get daily payments.

Ok, I kind of see the point of that, but if one is holding for a long time and the average amounts to the correct POS payout, then it doesn't really matter.

If you are holding for a shorter period though, it will.

Could there be a bug in the OSX wallet for showing Staking info?

My current Staking info:

Your weight is 691
Network weight is 67
Expected time to earn reward is 35 seconds

Seconds - really? Smiley I would guess the wrong network weight is the issue here.

Running v2.0.0.2-B3

That is definitely an inaccurate information provided by the wallet. Upon checking, you are currently running with the latest version of its wallet so you should be fine on that. Network weight nowadays for B3 is unbelievably high (due to high POS reward, I guess) and you should, at least, expect to get your rewards after a couple of days or weeks depending on the amount of B3 you're staking.

To everyone on windows that is having a problem.

Download the windows wallet on the OP screen by clicking the Windows logo.

Excract the zip file to some folder. Run the wallet so it can create the config file.
Encrypt your wallet with a passphrase.

Close the wallet make sure that its not in your system tray.

Go to Computer/My Computer/This PC. ( Depends on your version of windows)
Go To Users
Go to your current User's folder
Look for App Data  ( If you don't see app data, then you need to click on View at the top then Tick the box that say show hidden files)
Go to roaming
Go to B3-CoinV2
Right click and go to New then choose text document.
Open the New Text document then paste the following in the text document.

Start Copy Below these ---- and also above ---- do not copy ---- follow more instructions below :

---------------------

Now save the txt document
now rename the txt document to : B3Coin.conf

Make sure that it asks you to change your extention of the file name.
If it doesn't ask to change the extention of the file name and you can not see the .txt behind the file name
click again on View at the top then also Tick the box that say 'file name extentions'

You should now see the file name normaly like this  "B3Coin.Conf.txt"

Make sure to rename the file and remove the .txt  then save.

As soon as that is done, Run the wallet's qt file again.

Then on the left hand side click on Unlock Wallet - type your passphrase.

At the bottom right hand corner there should now be a Lock that is open.

Put your mouse over the small black dot's and see it can take about 10 min to reach around 3 active connections
As soon as it reach 3 active connections then you will see a green bar appear that shows xxx weeks behind and then
downloading.

Give it time it does take a littlebit of time about 30 min to complete.

When your done go to your Receive button on the left hand side - give your address a Label, then right click on the address choose copy.

Now go to your exchange and withdraw the B3 paste your address make sure its correct by doublechecking the first 3 and last 3 caracters.

And wait for your wallet to receive the coins.

After that the coins needs to mature for 24 hours before you will receive any stakes - after a few min the wallet will show staking but its not going to stake
if the coins are not in your wallet for 24 hours.

Hope this helps someone.

For everyone who has no clue how to install the wallet.
