If I was asked if what is the definition of gambling in my mind. My answer is "Lose a lot win a little." For me their could be higher risk in losing than winning in gambling, in other words it's not always 50/50 in chance games. For me it is 70/30(lose/win), its somehow like that if I were asked. I really setting aside myself in terms of gambling because if I became a part of a game for example poker. If I win consecutively I always go all in, in simple terms I don't have any discipline in a game of chance. When I'm on fire I bet a lot and lose a lot, for instance.

Exactly gambling not supposed to be a "job" , honestly it will destroy all your money that you can get from a real job or work. If people really could make money by simply gambling then there would be no poverty in this world and everyone would be a millionaire. This is the type of dreams that people land up in under gambling greed and temptation. It will eventually lead to huge losses only.

It is absolutely a high risk activity because you put money to make money and the fact that you do not have the edge most like you will lose more than you win. Well, that is how the system works, you cannot change that so be ready to accept whatever the outcome because when you are gambling you need to take the risk and accept it.

for me gambling is a gambling and its just a game. but for people which called gambling is an investment, its up to them. every people have each definition about gambling and its a free choice for people to make their definition.

Gambling for me is an addictive passion.  It is a passion that once you tried, it's hard to depart.  For some people it is just a game and they doing it because they just want to temporarily escape from the stress of their world and reward and treat themselves.  Unfortunately,  they do not notice that they are being hooked by gambling until they forget who really they are, their priorities in life, their relationships and their health conditions. I think no calculation works in gambling. Here anything can be possible. You can make $10k from $10 and also you have a chance to lose $10k in a single day. So in gambling don't put any expectation. If making money in gambling is that many easy means everyone will choose this gambling to make money. According to me, gambling is the fun game it will not give us any income. The profit depends on your luck.

It only looks like having a million you can easily make $10k profit, I know I was thinking that way too at some point. I'm not saying I lost a million nor that I saw someone lost a million, but I've seen several times like people were losing dozens of BTC in couple of minutes. They were thinking that having 20 BTC it's easy to make 1 BTC profit and than withdraw. Do not fall for that trap.

For me gambling is a form of entertainment, this is my way of distressing after a long day of work. I do not suggest gambling to everybody though since we all know that gambling involves losing money. But for as long as you know your limit then you do not have to worry about anything.

Well, in everything we do, we do it for a reason and that's not simply entertainment for others. For me, every time I gamble I want to be positive and have positive results in the profit because it will never be enough if you keep on gambling, then it would turn out to be greediness and in the long run, resulting in financial bankruptcy, emptying your bank account or bitcoin wallet.

I agree with you idea. Gambling is risky and it involves losses more than win since the casino owners have built it for their profit and not for the players profit, except the very few jackpot winners out there, who are again very few in number. If one can control their playing habits then gambling can be a mode of entertainment. More so if the money played is from someone's tip and not your own.

Gambling is not an investment but many people argue that it involves trading and exchanging since they also depend on luck but I defer saying that the latter requires skills as well. Also trading can be done whenever you want but in gambling there might be a time constraint.

How do you think gambling can lead to happiness? Seeing ones own family die of starvation due to your gambling habits is amusing? Its quite the opposite. It leads more losses and frustration and only short term happiness of getting a win but the win is very small considering the loss.

I think, initially gambling is there to make money. And the goal to have fun comes after many gamblers have managed to gamble while enjoying it. So having fun also turns into a major goal for some gamblers. And addiction, addiction is the result gained by gamblers who gamble the wrong way.

The fact is that if someone is very eager for winning, then the percentage of luck will fall anyway. There is another option, when a person can play, knows some tricks, and has a strategy that brings good profits. Only in this case there is an opportunity to play Lucky. Otherwise, I never believed in gambling, because in the first place, a person leaves almost all of his money in a casino, in the hope of winning more.
