Most of the children don't know about bitcoin but if children is my son and when we give a gift of my son's birthday , i will give him a bitcoin gift then my son ask me what is bitcoin i'm just told him it is a coin as like coin chalk let but this coin not for eat it is only a real coin as like dollar, if you want to buy some product you can use this coin instant of dollar. So that is very simple to explain teenagers or children.
Bitcoin is a great gift and if you will teach your son about bitcoin before you transfer the bitcoin then it is better. Teaching them first on how to manage their money in bitcoin and what are the things that they can do in order to either get the money from bitcoin or make it grow because of the sources that they can get work on. Bitcoin is like the precious metals that costs too much and it is better to be safe in managing it by teaching them first.

Though bitcoin is very difficult to explain to children and we both experienced hardships on it, we must be positive still in doing it.
specially if we want them to be successful in the future.
I won't waste my time explaining to children because they are not interested with bitcoin, they will grow and mature
and bitcoin will stay so I guess it's better to wait for the right time. Now, let's focus on making money and explain bitcoin to our friends that are matured already.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

I don't think so.
In fact, I really think that teenagers or children can understand Bitcoin much better than older generation.
They are born in digital age, with Internet and they are very open for the new technologies, ideas and projects.
Also, they learn much faster than elderly people and I really don't think they will need much explanation about Bitcoin.
As soon as they see benefits of Bitcoin, they will adapt it.
I don't worry about this point at all.

My thoughts exactly. The best way to explain to teenage children what Bitcoin is is showing them the places on the Internet where they can learn about it. Two weeks later they will be explaining to you what you don't understand about Bitcoin.

Exactly.  I think hands on interaction with bitcoin transactions is the best way to teach a teenager.  My little cousin has about 0.5 btc I gave him a while back and I am sure he is still saving it.  I got several of my family members into cryptocurrencies!  Smiley

Teenagers are now easy to understand about technology but Bitcoin I think many still do not understand. I just explained to them what Bitcoin is and what it's worth. But I did not explain to them how to get it I just suggested to them to read more details about Bitcoin in google. You will understand if you learn about it yourself.

Yeah, that's right, it is difficult to explain and at the beginning, it will be very hard for them understand what it is. They have zero knowledge about it so it's not quite surprising. For me, I just explained the basic things, and deliver it in the best way that I can then respond to their questions that I can manage to answer. The rest, I tell them to do research online if they are really interested in it and I suggest the best sites where they can find useful ideas for them to understand it more clearly. But I guess teenagers will pick it up easily especially that most of them today are becoming tech savvy because of our modern world.

children are in age where they should be away from earning process, teenagers on other hand should know about technology ,everyone nowadays is tech savy and will understand  basic technology nicely so they just need to get aware of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and other basic stuff related to it for eg-wallets,their way of working, some basic idea about blockchain and rest leave to them ,there more they learn themselves better they will be at it.

To explain bitcoin to teenagers or children is to explain directly with practice, we must say that bitcoin is the financial future and we invite him to make a wallet and visit a site that can produce bitcoin.

Everyone might have a smartphone but that does not mean that they are going to understand bitcoin easily. Bitcoin is a combination of principles of economy and technology. Bitcoin is a little hard to understand at first but of course there are explanations of bitcoin in layman's terms. This way, you can understand bitcoin even without having prior knowledge to it. When I don't know something, I usually just search explanation of it in layman's terms. It makes you understand better because it's using examples and analogies instead of technical words that you are not able to understand.

In the future, bitcoin will become a mainstream thing and people will know about it even if you don't force them to. They are going to learn about it by the time they are ready. No need to separate the youth from the adults, both have brains enough to learn about bitcoin.

There is a perfect book for that: "Bitcoin for Dummies". Your kids will get the entire idea easily Smiley

Usually "for dummies" books are made my dummies themselves. Just my opinion, since I had a bad experience with these stuff.

Yeah, that's why I search "in layman's terms" instead but sometimes books for dummies are alright. Otherwise they are not going to be so rampant.

Me too, it's hard to explain to people around me what Bitcoin is, while they always have a preconceived notion of virtual currency. Therefore, we should educate children and adolescents as soon as they are in school with useful lessons. Beside that, maybe the game will help them to gradually recognize the virtual currency and know how to use it.

I don't think it will be difficult to explain to future kids about bitcoin. Let's think about our current situations. Most of our parents don't even know how to sign up to a website. Let alone googling, while it's our day to day things. Do we learn that from our elder generations. If I think about it, I don't remember  them teaching me. All I need was a smart phone. So, I think it will be the same with future generations. Maybe all they need might be shopping a few times online. I will just encourage my kids to learn coding, because that's really important if they want to know cryptocurrency at a deeper level. P.S. I don't know coding. Cheesy

Teaching bitcoin in children is a little bit hard and risky too. And also explaining about bitcoin is hard thing for me if there's one asking me, and i feel sorry for that and to the idea that i would going to explain it in children or teenager is much difficult but I would like to explain though I find it hard for me because I know I could help a youth to become productive and a children to develop its young mind to become a trader someday. This idea is good it could be very helpful to the teenager and children but it looks like I should make some strategy that could make my explanation simple so that they could easily get what I really mean to.

for these purposes, there are many different clips and schemes that are very understandable even for children, but on the other hand do it at all, it depends on the parents, if they want, then they explain to their children very accessible

In today's world most teenagers were looking for a part time job in order for them fill their personal needs what parents cannot provide for them. So I think this will be the reason on how to easily explain bitcoin as one source wherein they can have extra money to sustain their daily needs. This can help them also increase their financial literacy.

I think the easiest way is to discuss directly, we all know that teenagers or children have an interest to know very high, if we are patient for discussion and answer all their questions of course they soon know about bitcoin.
