I have joined Bitcoin 2011 and I was a teenager at that time, I was only 14. The most attractive thing in Bitcoin was programming I loved its technical concept I loved how it provides the transparent network with the military grade security. I don't see any reason that is why teenagers on child will ignore it. Every human knows the value of money and this is the new face of the money so we have to just tell them how 2 use Bitcoin I think they are already interested in this I have to just understand it.

Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

Basics of Bitcoin aren't as hard to explain as many people say. Some teenagers and even adults are not interested in technology and how things which they use are being made. That is why it is easy to convince them that Bitcoin is a bubble even though they pay with some worthless paper. I always begin with explaining transactions, blocks and mining. Without these 3 things, it is impossible to understand Bitcoin.

In my own opinion, Its not necessary for us to explain to children how to bitcoin works because their minds are still innocent but on teenagers yes it was better to teach them because some of them has already the mindset to get rich or to earn more money in the future.

Its much easier to explain bitcoin to a teenager vs an old person who knows nothing else but fiat.  Children are fresh to the world the concept of money is strange.

I think we should apply Bitcoin to education and universally in high school, where there are the greatest number of youth or children. It will help them realize the virtual currency very early and can apply it in the future because digital currency will be widely used in the future. So the best way to explain to children and teens about Bitcoin is to get Bitcoin and sex education if the government accepts it as legitimate.

Actually, bitcoin is very simple. we first explain to them that bitcoin is the digital currency or cryptocurrency. After that we introduce with a wallet address whose function is to store the bitcoin is the same thing as a common wallet that we often encounter to save money. After that, we explain how to transact using bitcoin and how to get bitcoin to our wallet address. Certainly when described in more detail will take a long time, I suggest to explain this bitcoin while practicing or a tutorial so that it can be easily understood by them.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

I am a teenager so, by own experience, I know isn't that simple to understand like you are saying. I think nowadays, our generation is not having so much contact with this kind of information. Maybe because we're re still teenagers we don't care about this economic issues and debates so often as adult does. I think that as the time passes and the bitcoin become more popular, this problem will be solved.

I do not think it is necessary to know about something and they will use the internet to find out about it. Most children are more receptive and hard to learn. Be interested in bitcoin to find out or not

Try using some videos on Youtube. There are quite a few videos out there done by experts that will make explaining Bitcoin a lot easier.

Young people get even smarter than adults. The fact that young people today grow up very quickly and have enough interesting things on the fly. And so with cryptocurrency too, is the case. Perhaps we can not worry about that young people will be without knowledge.

Teenages, as young as they were, should be informed already about bitcoin, after all, they will be the ones who will use this in the future. Explaining to them I think is just simple, start by explaining the current paper money system and how we can improve it by getting digital money, I think they will like the concept because they like anything online.

If youre going to teach bitcoin to teenagers or children, probably you will have a hard time discussing it to them because the idea of bitcoin is very complicated and hard to understand and thats why they will not pay attention or listen to what you are saying. The idea of bitcoin is not for them. All they think is to have fun and enjoy life at their age. They dont want to spend their time in some complicated things like working on bitcoin because in their age, life must be enjoyed. Maybe they can only learn and get the idea of bitcoin but they will not act or work on it.

It is really hard to explain, there are some terminologies that are hard to get. So you tell them to read and research how bitcoin works because telling it directly to them is such complicated thing.

I have a very easy way to tell Bitcoin to children and teens. I can explain bitcoin  which is digital money  in a simple way if i explain the difference of money in debit card or cash. They are very intelligent entities and understand everything about the computing environment very well. It is very difficult to tell about  Bitcoin to the old  than children and teens.

That would be easy but not all kids are really interested with bitcoin, even those people who are old enough most of them are still not interested with bitcoin, I think we should evaluate their interest and capacity first before we will start educating them, it's necessary to ensure our effort will be appreciated   and we will be able to help them fully understand bitcoin because they will venture on it.

For the start check the link mentioned in the following discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2578408.0 It's one of the best descriptions on how the blockchain works that i have seen so far. Bitcoin is just the implementation of the blockchain so it should be a good starting point.

Bitcoin is not going to be a super globally recognized currency anytime soon though. So, at least for the near future, it is completely upon yourself to decide whether you want to pursue it. However, you want to explain BTC to teenagers, you could just first give them an introduction about the blockchain, peer-to-peer, decentralized structure, and make them watch some YouTube vids and reads some articles, they should be good to go.
