I think nowadays some adults are not familiar with bitcoin, let alone teens, bitcoin difficult to explain, which requires you to slowly develop their interest.
Arguably more teens and young adults are into BTC and crypto than proper adults as many adults feel BTC is a full on ponzi

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

kids do not need to know about currencies, and I think there are so many video explanations on youtube so do not waste your effort wasting your time when you can give them lessons about the videos so they can learn from them.

I think reading is the first step to educate someone in bitcoin. Answer all his questions and clarification precisely so that he/she will able to learn fastly. Inspire and motivate him so that he will able to take bitcoin seriously.

I would explain bitcoin to the teenagers the same way I explain to my friends. It is something that you should tell just the way it is

The best is yet to come!

I have paid my 12 and 15 year old children their allowance in bitcoin for the past two years.

My daughter is also an Amazon Prime owner (through me) so she gets free shipping and uses egifter to convert from bitcoin to Amazon gift cards (exact dollar amounts!). She also uses me as an exchange and I'll instantly convert to USD either in person or by paying whoever she is with (grandma, mom, etc)

My son uses it for minecraft, domain names, xbox, steambitshop.com (steam games), and also pays others to do creative work or such - currency amongst them in their online world's.

While they are now old enough for USD bank accounts, I feel that they have an edge up on their peers in the digital world, especially if either of them go the engineering route.

Bitcoin solved two problems in our lives as well.

I was away from the kids for 2 years and it allowed me to safely and securely give them spending money. Both had  iPhones and initially used blockchain until breadwallet came along with its SPV goodness.

It is a reliable store of value. For a child, cash is easily lost or forgotten. Piggy banks don't work well for storing the bits of money a kid comes across. They much prefer exchanging it with dad for bitcoin. Previously, they would trust their mother to hold cash and they quickly learned that mom isn't exactly financially sound - and their money would disappear or fall victim of "parental capital controls" as I like to call it.

There's a lot more to the story and I've often thought of doing an interview of blog post with them. They've grown up using the blockchain with allowance, as a family ledger of value, playing games (simple board games we bet quarters on or such), and even Easter egg hunts that have private keys in them.

It's been a great experience for them due to the problems in our lives that it solved. Not for everyone, but works great for us!!

at the moment on the Internet is full of information and teaching materials about bitcoin, it is important that the adolescents themselves have a desire to know this technology, besides, it is necessary to present correctly for the first steps of training.

Teenagers and children nowadays are very close to technology, isn't it shocking that you can see toddlers playing games on tablets,   cellphones and laptops. Meaning they are much easier to learn the basics of anything about internet-related topics, much more bitcoins. The hard part is the money properties of bitcoins. If the principles of investing and how to use as well as invest/make bitcoins grow will be imparted to thise young minds, it will be great. Because that is what is lacking for the older ones today, financial know-how. If the young ones will be taught.and they can grasp the power of bitcoins and apply them on their lives, through their parents that is, imagine the possibilities and potential of them starting on an early age. Proper guidance is the key. And more important gambling is a no-no for kids.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

On children, it might not too hard or easy to teach them about bitcoin, but on Teenagers will be an easier one because most of bitcoiners today are teenagers and teenagers have the capacity to easily adopt about it.

well as you know it is really hard to explain what bitcoin is? but if you will explain to them slowly and you have to encourage them what will be the big effect on it then that's the time they will know how bitcoin is very important to us.and if they will know that they will get an extra income on it then they will join us in bitcoin.

It would be better if we explain the benefits they will get, but must be reminded of all the risks that must be faced. Moreover, bitcoin is very suitable for the times, teenagers must love it very much. They were born and raised in the digital age.

I think to explain to teenagers is simple enough, first we invite to join and talk while joking. search for what young people like and talk about bitcoin in front of them, now their teenage kids go into web browsing, looking for a job and surfing so the technology may be easier for him. for them teenagers to learn about bitcoin with little supervision from us. now many teenagers who start learning bitcoin to get a good future, that's what they say I know.
That seems more like a bait for like kindergarteners than proper teenagers who will completely and totally ignore you

If teenagers of your age will be understood in an easy way but different from a child who still wants to play dolls with his friend's friends. They will find it hard to understand how Bitcoin works for their age.

Explaining bitcoins to children is a bit of a complicated job... Because bitcoin is a huge accounting book, many children can't understand what is an account book, and I think they will learn about BTC when they become familiar with the world.
The trick is to not teach like 5 year olds about accounting lol? Just wait for an appropriate age then teach them about crypto

Before explaining bitcoin, explain first the idea of cryptocurrency. Many people are confused about cryptocurrency and bitcoin. They thought they are two different things. Then teach them how to save money in a piggy bank and in banks. Teach them how to handle their own money. Teach them the basics of money before introducing bitcoin to them.

It would be hard to explain Bitcoin to children unless if they have a prior knowledge about economics. If you would explain the concept of Bitcoin to teenagers, just explain it in a simple and straight way. Explaining the whole concept might give confusion to the teenagers. If you want your child to learn about Bitcoin you can teach them first about investing, and if they have prior knowledge to economics, you can now teach them.

If we are going to explain the details about in Bitcoin they wont easily get the catch of it. Instead of that I think it is much better to show them the usages of Bitcoin and make them familiarize with it until such time time come that they will realize and find out the importance of bitcoin in the near future.

If I was asked to introduce bitcoin to teenagers or children then I would retreat, not easily explain bitcoin to adults especially to teenagers or children, as long as they have no intention to know bitcoin then this will be a tough job.

I do not think kids have time to know the bitcoin. If it should be, then I will explain it simply. Children should focus on learning, and there are times when it comes to knowing bitcoin.
