i hope that my country will collaborate with bitcoin too so banks here in my country will accept bitcoin so i can buy anything with my bitcoins. that will be a good advantage for me because most of my salary is in bitcoin because i like putting all of it on bitcoin because bitcoin is more secure than banks here in my country.
we are also hoping the same. because in my country still there is not such facilities that bitcoin is providing in other countries of the world. hope that in future bitcoin will be accepted by banks and all the big shopkeepers will also providing facilities to customers to use bitcoin for shopping.

Looks like you are in my same place.. its really help that we have now a VCC or virtual visa debit card that we can use to shop online and verifying our paypal.. we can connect bitcoin into paypal and convert paypal funds into bitcoin.. the sad part if you are not verified owner of coins.ph you can use their vcc. and give all of your information in order to use the full service of coins.ph.

I do not currently use bitcoin debit card. I know the convenience provided by the bitcoin debit card, but in my town are very rare stores that accept credit cards or the like, they are still using cash so for the moment I do not use a bitcoin debit card

Currently I don’t use a physical debit bitcoin card because I don't see any need for it, but I do use a vcc from time to time that I can load with bitcoins so I can buy software and games that I need online.

I don't use bitcoin debit card because it is additional expenses and bother. I use CEX.IO instead. I sell bitcoins when I need and withdraw them from cex wallet directly to my regular Visa bank card and pay for this withdrawal $3.80 only. This is a cheapest fee. BTW, it's instant! This is a nice feature for all exchanges to have. I believe the next exchange to implement something like this will be Bitstamp or Kraken. I have one question. Does the card have to be Visa? Do they also accept Master Card? You can use MasterCard as well, but fees for Visa are lower. )

As long as you are shopping through online and only for digital goods, I guess you will not be needing plactic bitcoin debit cards, you can simply manage with VCC. But when it comes for physical shopping, bitcoin debit cards will be very handy. If you are not a dedicated bitcoin holder for long term, you may think about buying one plastic card.

One of the reason why I don't use a plastic one is that I don't like their fees and their recent reviews (like wirez/cryptopay/spectrocoin) I use time to time the virtual one and I don't have any issue but haven't used any plastic one yet.

Well, now i don't need it, because i don't want to use these type of cards, because i already have a lot of other fiat cards, But when i need it, than off course i will choose it. My main reason is that i just buy bitcoin only for holding, not for use the bitcoin. I usually use the bitcoin in gambling and trading. Well, when i decided to use the debit bitcoin card than i will take step.

Well reading prior comments on this thread I understand how this can work by linking your btc wallet to your actual debit account and I think this would be very beneficial for us users. The only wish I have is for it to be available in more areas as for now, even if I have one of those, I can only use it for online purchases from businesses that actually accept btcs as payments.

I would like to tell when we say bitcoin debit card we mean a card where we can load with bitcoins but we can use it like as our cards with fiat money. Most of them are virtual but if pay a small fee can come in your home after some days. More over some of them are prepaid too. You can use them like the other ordinary cards in ATM to withdraw fiat, for purchases online and so on. Some of them are https://spectrocoin.com/ and https://www.e-coin.io/.

According to their system of auto top up I also like xapo much, but it is not available in my country. In the meanwhile I found a local exchange in my country and whenever I want I withdraw my money from that exchange and use them with my bank card.

Just curious how many users use one of these.. I've started using Xapo and its pretty good actually. I can buy whatever I want with BTC. They have some fees,I tried finding some companies with lower fees but no luck. They card costs 18$,I guess it was..Actually all companies want like 15$-20$ for a debit card. Which is a good investment..I guess.. Which one do u use and what are their fees? So far right now in my country don't have any debit card for bitcoin, because most of the people here don't about bitcoin/ digital currency. I wish sooner or later we could have that chance so I can experience to use it anywhere I go.

to this day i can not see any usefulness in using a bitcoin debit card. if i want to spend bitcoin i would spend bitcoin directly from my phone/bitcoin wallet and directly to the merchants bitcoin wallet. any other way is not spending bitcoin, and a bitcoin debit card goes through the third party, changes it to fiat and takes lots of fees to let me use it! so what is the point, i am going to use a fiat debit card for free (no fees for using it here) and use bitcoin directly if i can.

There is no real sense as a bitcoin debit card, But there are sites offering services to the Bitcoin holder currency conversion into local currency or something like that.
