maybe important to say not to buy from this wallet adres BJF39N8uqnhbj6SSQ7JDPQdnpLyfcNUi5R or related to it.

We are keeping track of all inputs related to the wallet in question with the Mintpal scam.

Currently the user has moved 1,000,000SILK from the original address.

Do not worry, we are on top of this and is not an issue.

Code:
6th of September at 2.30am (GMT) funds were moved from the 4,000,000 input at the root address:

956365.59136461 moved to B6sWVqMe5idMcHSPaxEKriqkNPPv2xKyrd

43634.40853539 moved to BSGepFbjNebhn6NRFQ5Lkk5sNMywL67DMt

then at 7.19am from B6sWVqMe5idMcHSPaxEKriqkNPPv2xKyrd:

903171.60805872 moved to BALy1L3cNUt9XdPqs1dtmWS55fetyzNo1k

53193.98320589 moved to BJSpc1X9GdkMVD5qg2Vhgvq5yrX94WyeEV

There is no way of hiding the transactions with Silkcoin, we are watching.

So the mintpal scammers are you referring to are the original devs who tried to sell their premine on mintpal?

Would be good if we can find a way to make sure their silk is useless to them since its a brand new launch ...

That's why they closed the bittrex wallet.  Bittrex cannot refuse to swap them due to their own terms, but weaver can.
The original dev team only moved 56k to trex, so it's not like they are going to be a huge issue.

Yes but we will have to watch their transactions to make sure they dont try and move the funds to other addresses.

Such scum do not deserve to make anything from their own greed.

53K wont harm a single bit. good to see bittrex took action fast and closed the wallets before swap.

Now we are 100% sure the rest of the mintpal scam stays in the monument "oldchain"

Weaver will proactively block the top address of the Silkcoin rich list from the swap.

This is to prevent the stolen funds from Mintpal being swapped.

Any addresses receiving stolen funds from this address will be implicated and blocked.

Thank you again for your understanding with our dealing of the matter.

Believe you have been blocked unfairly? - contact@silknetwork.org

Bittrex cannot refuse swap to any customers whom deposit to their wallets as they would be in breach of their own policies and best practice.

We were tracing funds from the Mintpal wallet and 53k slipped through the net.

After a long meeting with Bittrex (Bill and Richie) we have decided to close the deposit wallet on Bittrex.

All users who have deposited to Bittrex will be credited on the 17th of September on Bittrex as normal.

User registration and wallets on Weaver are being brought online and will be available publicly on the 8th of September at 8pm EST.

We appreciate your understanding of the situation and our dealing of the matter.

Thank you.

What does this mean for us holding Silkcoin atm? Can we swap or just send them there meanwhile?

The funds will be locked and users accounts will be credited on the 17th of September upon Silk launching.

Great job guys!  It's pathetic that the scam artist(s) are trying to pawn off the Mintpal scam Silkcoin....

Cheers to the dev team for the great work!!!  Nice job!  Also cheers to Bittrex team as well!!!  Let's kick some Poloniex ass when SLK releases and then kick some more ass when DRKSLK is out.

Just weird that the person(s) kept the coins until now without selling or moving them. Had several times to just get something for them, now that chance is gone  Cool

Silk is gone on polo, get those coins to Trex guys.

Yes, Silkcoin gone closing yet another chapter in our history.

Now is the time to move our focus towards DarkSilk. Silk is cool and all but DSLK is the new cool kid on the block! Wink A new coin with great features and solid team. Pump it up!

Hey... SLK is coole two....

In the OP, they say SLK is for investors, DSLK is for users.  Get it get it

Yes but SLK is dependent on DSLK. If nobody is using DSLK then SLK has no reason to oscillate.

Take XMR for example. DSLK is fundamentally better then XMR so lets say DSLK got the recent exposure as XMR. If that were to happen, and many people were using DSLK as a secure form of payment, then SLK would of been the coin increasing +100% while DSLK price would stay consistent. Point is, the more usage we get out of DSLK the better price SLK will be.

Honestly I think the a-hole was Trak!  Would explain his complaining why he wanted to stay on old chain...  Yes like you said whomever it was had plenty of time but why go for bronze when you can try for gold...  Too bad...  So sad...

Dev's/Bittrex had the scam artist out maneuvered...

There is always one jackass in the group that tries to ruin it for everyone.

It will be interesting to see the use cases for DSLK.  Time will tell.

BTW, I don't know if anyone noticed, SILKCOIN is no more listed on coinmarketcap.com

Is it by design?

Since it doesn't have a market I guess that's normal.

Can we keep staking SILK until the 17th and then send to Weaver?

I guess what I am asking is regardless of when we send to Weaver for swap, our wallet will be current, correct?

Didn't know if there was a cutoff point for staking...  At the same time don't want to wait until last minute for a coin that won't have anyone using it...

Yes, you may continue staking your SILK until September 17th when the swap occurs. At that time, a snapshot of the blockchain will be taken and any coins generated after that point will be ineligible for swap.
