The problem with Silk is that it doesnt have good marketing. You guys need to start speaking at events or make atleast youtube-lectures.

SLK total supply = 44 million coins
DSLK total supply = 4 million coins

To achieve the parity in market cap (which is one of the underlying principle of Silk network) shouldn't the swap be at 11 SLK : 1 DSLK?
or am i missing something here?

Is it actually possible to buy into DRKSLK ICO with SLK?

I can only see its possible with BTC.

Week 2.

OK, i should have left my silk in the weaver,  its still in queue to withdraw to my wallet, i guess i will have to send some back to do the swap.

Matthew is really ill with a stomach flu (caught from the kids) and is a little slower at processing the transactions than the said hour, for obvious reasons (he is only human).

Do rest assured, like said before, if on the blockchain explorer you see your TX at your Weaver address, then it is there and safe.

I have been forwarding all emails from users asking about their TX's directly to him and they will be updated ASAP.

Thank you for all for your understanding with this matter and sorry.

(Before anyone asks, no, Weaver TX's are not being handled manually forever)

Thats all good, i did a test transaction of 1 SILK a couple of days ago, went through all good Smiley

Im only OCD about this because in the past ive lost coins when withdrawing from or sending to an exchange because ive been on a fork and never realised.

I agree, You guys should make YouTube videos, and speak at conferences, so we can be more known in the crypto world. Right now there is little to no marketing, and quite honestly you guys should've marketed it ahead of time before the ICO.

P.S. I've been following for quite some time. I don't post often due to my schedule, but I am an avid follower, and will continue to invest more during the dips. Let's keep on marching!

Team Interview with CoinInterview | 30th September 2016

The questions that will be covered:

Code:
What is Silk Network?

What is the connection with Silk Road/Camel icon?

Why did you choose that over another icon?

Is this project/network in anyway connected with the DNM's like Alpha Bay?

What is the nature of the company you have setup in the UK?

What kind of clients work with you?

How is this business planning on surviving and making revenue?

What encryption methods do you use on the network?

What is Weaver?

What is the difference between Silk and DarkSilk?

What are the Stormnodes?

Is this network over the ClearNet or does it use Tor?

How are you compared to other privacy centred coins like Monero, Dash or ShadowCash?

Do you have any questions? Let us know on slack

This is awesome. I played around with a raspberry pi in high school. I think it's time I buy one to make a SLK staker.  Grin

Oh the feels. Nostalgia is strong with this one, the smell of new hardware, and the rush to make it work  Grin Grin

Is there a manual about setting up a Stormnode? Can't find it on the website? Are people investing in Silk and darksilk?

Ok. I think, but not sure that the old silkcoin is still available for withdrawal on Poloniex.(even tho delisted it they allow withdrawal)

My question is

1. should I withdraw to my own old silk wallet then to weaver.

or 2. Withdraw directly to weaver.

Is the swap even still available for me?

Yes you can still swap and you can send it to Weaver straight away. It could be that the amount gets pushed to the screen later today but if the block explorer acknowledges the deposit then we have received it.

I withdrew from polo to my silkcoin wallet adress on the silknetwork 2 days ago but it still doesn't show up
And it's not found on the silkexplorer
the adress i used; B9hpLgPtu7oyYEAX9SLg1RNqtPK1YscGMr

some help please

There cant be an manual because DarkSilk isnt released yet.
The release will be when the ICO is over

And yes, a lot of people are interested in Sild and DarkSilk, you only have to take a look at the ICO page of DSLK or at Bittrex market of SLK

Write a PM or eMail to the Silknetwork Staff , its possible that they need to confirm your coins to be sure that they are not from a backstabbing action at poloniex
