I don't think so. Bitcoin can help people to send money faster and in more secure way and protect their privacy but if you are poor and don't have INternet, Bitcoin can't help you really. Poor countries we have to help in different way, with donations, educations, investments etc.

Bitcoins can't do nothing to help poor countries. I guess bitcoins can help to some educated individuals from poor country, but not to all people from there. Even here things are not equal, some people earn a lot and with that earning they will invest and make higher profit then others. It is capitalism, and there is no cure for it. Personally I would like to see communist again at least there wasn't such big difference in salaries. In my country 30 years ago the highest salary could be just 7 times more then lowest. Today in capitalism difference between lowest and highest can be 200 times. That is just crazy, and while some people get rich other are fighting for food.
Sorry but nobody can help to this poor countries, rich and modern countries are earning on them and taking their precious metal's and healthy smart kids and taking them to rich countries. Sorry my friends, it's the system.
Well, if the government put a higher taxes for the most rich people, or just force to pay better salaries, maybe it can reduce the difference. However it will never happen... Yeap, the most rich countries "import" the most smart people i am sure that bitcoin can help poor people but not sure about this that either it can help poor countries or not. i think it depend on their policy if they allow their people to use bitcoin and their people become rich in bitcoin atumatically it will help their country to develop
I think there is no obstacle to using bitcoin. even though their countries prohibit the use of bitcoin. but it will not hamper they to use of bitcoin for them IMO bitcoin is more beneficial for individual users.Governments wont have extra benefits if they use bitcoin. What would happen to their currency if they start using bitcoin for trade and paying salaries? Good point about their currency, probably will reduce a lot the value! Hahahahaha for sure that people will start using bitcoin before the poor ones Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries? how? what can be done?
Bitcoin can't do anything with problem of any countries because in some countries bitcoin are banned so that how can bitcoin can help the country which is some countries are banned bitcoin because they don't want people to use it well if in that case probably bitcoin can help them with cents not the entire life Oh, there's this question too, a lot of countries banned bitcoin lol governments... Is it legal in your contry?

If the bitcoin start to be used for a lot of people, the contry currency will devalue your price, the government will earn less from taxes, maybe it can cause a crisis.

Exactly what I've been saying. Even if we have millions of bitcoins here to give, it can't be helpful for a country that is poor and presumably has no internet connection.

The problem with poor countries is, that they usually lack everything that requires bitcoin to be used properly.
Bitcoin = internet. Without developed network infrastructure using BTC is very limited.
Plus, if someone says: lets just give bitcoin to poor country X. - it will help them and promote BTC.
Giving money/BTC is not exactly the best way to fix problems of developing countries. We should avoid doing it.

internet nowadays is available everywhere, even in the poor countries so i don't think that is much of a problem here. but i agree with the second part, giving bitcoin away to help is usually turn into those people dumping it as soon as they receive it and take the fiat. so nothing is gonna change.

The truth is "everyone" have a cellphone and internet connection... The problem is the mobile internet have a limited data so you can't use it to watch tutorials in video or anything which requires a lot of data transfer, and well, you "can't" work in a cellphone too... Giving away isn't a solution, but projects can be a way.

The problem is easy when people in poor countries are making ways to adopt with bitcoins, when they will know the benefits which they can save for the transfer fee they will make sure they will study bitcoin for their benefits, and I think when you are interested you have the will to understand the project because it benefits you.

Right, internet reached almost places in the globe and even in your cellular you could internet which is not really a thing to think of since internet is everywhere. Poor countries would do actually have internet for sure. Donating bitcoin wouldnt do anything since they would for sure dump all of their coins once they recieved it.

I don't think a certain currency can help poor countries.
I can only see a possibility with them being able to take advantage of it by selling illegal stuff.

and the fact is bitcoin have all these features. bitcoin is the great source to donate. and it is the perfect investment it self. and it is full of knowledge and education about newest technology. bitcoin can obviously help poor countries if poor countries adopt bitcoin and be honest with it. they will earn a fortune with wibtcoin.

The fact that alot of countries is poor has historical reasons. I think, Bitcoin will not solve all of these reasons like the organizations who are getting people work for much lower salaries than the people do the same work for in developed countries, but it could help, for example, to keep trace of the charity money.

The problem is that Bitcoin is not so available to the poor countries. To expect some substantial help this have to be a project on a larger scale supported by governement and community but that is not very likely.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries? how? what can be done?
Yes, Bitcoin definitely can help people living in poor countries. Here are just two examples how: 1. People from poor countries can earn Bitcoin doing some services online (like coding, photoshopping etc.) 2. They can find something which is cheap in their country but is in demand in rich countries and sell it via post making profits.
