The Fuding of some users here is quite annoying, thats right. At least as annoying as the people which run around with closed eyes and say everything is fine.
Delayed Distribution, Buggy ICO Page and Wallet and now the hack...
We should look at the facts, its a fucking chaos. And the prce is reflecting that.

Delayed distribution - About 95% of KMD has been distributed. It is done manually for security reasons, the frequency of which is dictated by demand. Currently processed weekly on a Friday. Buggy ICO page - Not had any issues personally Wallet - Bugs exist as its new, many have been fixed in 0.1.5.2e build and development is ongoing. Hack - resolved within hours. Heard anyone here complaining they lost any coins? Things will settle down shortly and life will carry on. Too many drama queens here.

You should read back the thread. There was a huge delay because ICO Page was not ready. Want you help to Iguana development?
I dont, because i dont have the technical Knowledge. But if people ask for money for a project, they should know what they do, right? I dont say it is easy to build something like that. It is certainly not. Its a really hard business. For me (and some others here too it seems) it looks like the team is unable to cope with the situation and (what is way more disturbing) to get a realistic view on it.

It doesn't seem like the price is really dropping, but maybe too early to call.

The situation has already been dealt with. So what is the issue? The realistic view is KMD has been out for about 1.5 months, the scope of what it is trying to accomplish is large and experimental there are bound to be issues along the way. The team acted quickly and professionally in dealing with this. The initial ICO distribution was delayed a couple weeks due to implementing the btcd swap. At this time no one received coins, so no party benefitted, there were no exchanges accepting kmd so no one lost out on trading. It just another case of idiots making a big fuss over non-issues

Chances are they keep on fudding because they have no investment on KMD. They don't believe its technology which is btw awesome and never seen anything like this. The technology itself prepares KMD future exploits that BTC somehow lacks.

Don't like the project? Just sell and fuck off, we all know the risks involved gambling with this stuff, no one twisted your arms to participate. I personally don't gamble with more than 3 BTC and I would be pissed with myself if I lost it. Don't be blinded by your greed for instant profit, then come here and lash out like a child because of your stupid, poor decisions. You turn this place into a sewer with your fud and whining, kill the morale of the team and investor confidence, what do you want? Others to suffer with you? There are no guarantees, we are still early days, so give them a chance.
Bagholder out.

it was an oversight in a special case of block validity checking. I had all the complicated pax deposit/withdraw totals matched up with pending cross chain swaps but there was a test for a special 2 vout coinbase as we use the second vout for the price feed data.
So it was testing for this special case properly, but the default path of the 2 vout coinbase (which cant be any pax tx) was set to ok, instead of error.
totally my oversight, and the case where you spend all your effort on the difficult part and dont check for the simplest exeptions to the simplest case. I will take a 1 million KMD responsibility for this and contribute that much to a cryptox make good fund. I believe the long delay from our request to stop deposits and when it was finally done was a contributing factor that made it go as big as 3.5 mil, but with 1 million KMD, that means at least one third of all the cryptox KMD can be made real.
this combined with the 25 BTC to make cryptox whole and I think we have most of the solution
I will use personal KMD for the 1 million contribution to the makegood fund.
All things considered I think you handled this situation very well James, well done! Yesterday when I first heard of the strange 100K blocks mentioned in slack my impression was there was going to be a rollback to correct an attack involving 250k-1M coins, and this would be done while most of Europe and North America was asleep. Under those assumptions I thought invoking a rollback without at least considering other options was crazy, and likely to cause a loss in KMD confidence of a magnitude great enough to destroy KMD & SuperNET in an instant, voiding all your work since 2014, and the holdings of all the investors. I can see now with more information about the nature of the attack that a rollback (or whatever technical name best describes the fix) was the best solution under the circumstances. You acted quickly, took responsibility for the bug, and fixed it asap, and nobody can really ask for more than that when investing in experimental projects.

I don't know where you people look for information. It is a pity I missed the 150sat dump, I would have made 20X return on my investment by now

I just put the trolls on Ignore and makes the place better. There are a bunch of them here and most can't speak English very well, which makes their posts even more annoying. But people have a right to be disappointed in KMD performance. The ICO site was buggy from the start, the Iguana wallet has been buggy and poorly designed, ergonomically. And now this hack that was a result of flawed code. I would have preferred a delayed launch until the bugs were worked out or else just don't collect the ICO funds until later. There's nothing wrong with holding people accountable for their mistakes. But also doesn't help to berate them here and cause them to hate everyone and not do the best they can from here forward.

What are you talking about 24 hour trading volume at bittrex is 36 BTC+ and price have never dropped to 3000 sat range. Look at this https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-KMDWallet maintenance - Upgrade for Hard Fork Hard Fork
