I really can't wait until KMD is listed in one of the top exchanges KMD reached a volume of 72 BTC in Cryptopia today. Imagine how much it will grow if it's on Polo or Bittrex Cryptopia is a great exchange after pascalcoin huge gain, people like trading there, and KMD will list on Poloniex like pasc too?

Imagine how much it will grow if it's on Polo or Bittrex Cryptopia looks decent and good. Well managed exchanger as what I observed. I suggest Komodo to be listed also at Liqui because currently it is listing new hot coins like ICONOMI, Golem, Wings, vSlice and others with decent volume too.

How to send your KMD to an exchange- go to 'home' tab - click 'use exsisting KMD address' - input the deposit KMD address you got from an exchange - Now that you have the correct KMD address you can proceed to the 'payout' tab - Since you are using a 3rd party address you don't have the seed, and thus you will click 'skip' - Follow instructions and confirm the withdrawal Warning: make sure you are doing the withdrawal to a correct address! Once we send out the KMD there is no way to retrieve it.How to send your KMD to your own KMD address1) go to home page, click 'HOME' 2) If you don't have a seed generate a new one by clicking 'Reset Seed', follow the instructions 3) Double check your seed matches with the KMD address, click 'Check KMD address', follow the instructions 4) go to 'PAYOUT' tab 5) click 'Request payout' 6) type the seed, click 'confirm' 7) click 'send' 8 ) wait that we process the payout (check your KMD address from kpx.io) 9) after we have paid, you can open Iguana Desktop App 10) Select 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' and insert your seed to the desktop app Iguana Desktop AppInstall the Iguana to send/receive Komodo. Launch Komodo in either 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode'. Links to step by step instructions can be found from the website. Keep in mind that the Iguana was just launched and it's status is 'public beta', thus there are some bugs. However, using your funds in 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' is safe. For now it is not possible to generate more addresses, but when it is you will have to backup those addresses. You can always get an access to the first address that is generated with your seed, so as long as you don't generate any additional addresses all you need is the seed. Keep in mind that the funds are not really in your wallet - they are in the blockchain. The wallet is used to monitor, send, and receive funds. Please keep in mind that with the 12 word seed anyone could access your funds and steal them, so store it somewhere safe and don't share it. Download Iguana from from our website: https://supernet.org/en/products/iguana

For some reason, the iguana wallet shows a balance of 0 even though there is clearly KMD on that address. The progress bars are all at 100% but wont disappear as it is said in the text below. How long does this take?
Thank you very much.

investigating problem identified, relates to an local error check that isnt taking into account the interests earned, so it rejects the transaction as having insufficient funds. it would have been accepted by the blockchain as the interests are counted on validation, but I missed a case in the wallet send side. Will take a bit of time to setup a precise edge case to duplicate this locally, but it is a local wallet transaction creation issue and not a blockchain consensus issue. Of course, still quite important and annoying. Will work on this today

Also, 76 million+ KMD has been distributed in 6 different batches already. I estimate there is only about 4 million KMD left to payout in the short term as there is still unconverted BTCD The confirmation is done by confirming the passphrase. Once that is confirmed 100% of the time the coins go to the blockchain in the right address

Now I am curious to know how exchanges will deal with the interests: will they distribute them to each user in proportion to their KMD balances in their platform, or will they keep it for themselves (as the interest stays in their change addresses). If they keep interests to themselves, they could at least charge cheaper fees for KMD deals. .-. .-''-.__.-'00 '-' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' '-. '.___ ' . .--_'-' '-' '-' _'-' '._ V: V 'vv-' '_ '. .' _..' '.'. I pushed a test version to the komodo dev branch that should solve the sporadic errors on sendtoaddress.
Coincidentally, it also addresses the concerns about exchanges stockpiling interests, at least during the hotfix's lifetime. I would be open to a pull request that fixes this more properly, but this area of code is the bitcoin c++ and has always been very sensitive to any changes. Since we are already live in mainnet, I dont want to change it unless there is no other option.
However, there is an other option with the new -exchange command line argument. What this does is suppress the interests calculation in just the wallet, but enabling the KOMODO_EXCHANGEWALLET mode. What that means is that whenever the wallet creates a transaction, it will pretend there is no interest. This avoids a support incident and has the effect of shifting the interest accrued from the exchange to the miners/notaries.
Of course, any exchange is free to not run in this mode by adding error handling, but at least there is an out of the box solution that solves the exchange's customer support issue.
after coinexchange.io validates this fix actually works, I will propagate it to all the branches.
Incident Reported 10:40am Received 11:54 am Issue identified 12:09 pm proposed fix submitted 1:30pm
