Less than 2 hours into the test:

602   PIZZA/BEER   41586536.964401   4932.12784702   0.0001186   0.00099278   0.0001   9107.47   0.0001098

over 600 swaps for more than 41 million PIZZA (out of total 100 million)

So far the test has found just one issue that is not critical for this test, and the method of separating each barterDEX p2p network is working as expected. activity in one netid doesnt affect the others at all!

so with 10 active netids, we get 10x the capacity
which means linearly with 100 netids, 100x the capacity
with 1000 netids, 1000x the capacity
and with 14,000 netids (Eventually) we will have 14000x the capacity of a single p2p network

several important performance improvements were done for today's test, so the next test will go back to a single netid to see how much we can push through a single netid

during the time I took to write this post, another 22 swaps

624   PIZZA/BEER   42950235.10112   5070.79244954   0.00011806   0.00099278   0.0001   9976.06   0.00010024

How do we get the BEER/PIZZA coins for testing? Both coins show as "undefined" in my BarterDex v0.8.6rc.

At the 4 hour mark, over 64% completed:
1125   PIZZA/BEER   64254190.987907   7591.97539555   0.00011816   0.00099278   0.0001   9117.43   0.00010968

basically 5 swaps per minute are completing, and with block times of a couple minutes, it means a couple dozen are pending at any given moment. for the entire test so far. whale resistance is working perfectly. the most anybody has so far is 14% and that is with a relatively small number of participants. in a popular dICO the amount a single whale can get would be much less and even 20% to an active whale is not such a bad thing, especially compared to "ICO sold out in 38 seconds to 3 whales"

this is by far the smoothest dICO test to date and things are looking good for scaling it up as it can be linearly scaled up with addition of more netids.

So while that would work, I want to push the capacity per netid higher. By constantly improving in all areas, it is just a matter of time until it is sufficient for whatever use case. The dICO use case in some ways is a brutal test of the extreme limits of the network, but in other ways it is very limited.

So far in the test we passed the 28,000 and 29,000 swaps done marks. But I guess other projects somehow are getting more credit for their atomicness due to having prominent tweeters. Kind of sad if you think about it.

I agree, this is pretty amazing. I'm able to move any amount of funds in/out of BarterDex addresses, volume has been steady for a few coins, and the electrum servers are great. I really like having control of my coins, all while still earning 5% kmd Smiley. I've sort of figured out a method that works for me as far as what transaction amounts to send to BarterDex and how to place my orders. I still don't fully understand the entire supernet ecosystem but I know it's special. I'm glad I committed to KMD and thank you to jl777 & team.

I thought the 5th hour would slow down, but:

1433   PIZZA/BEER   73184627.636314   8652.99110553   0.00011824   0.00099278   0.0001   1007.27   0.00099278

73 million PIZZA in 5 hours, we passed 30000 swaps

With 9 million PIZZA in the last hour, it seems in a few more hours we will be close to 90% sold out of PIZZA.

All in all, if this was a real dICO, I think it shows that there is no problems in moving large numbers of coins. I have seen that many people think atomic swaps only work for small amounts, but there is no difference to the atomic swap protocol whether for 1 COIN or a million

I do see that with normal usage, the average trade side is between 5 to 10 KMD, but that is a function of the utxos that the marketmakers have available and the trades people are starting

1889   PIZZA/BEER   83408881.74098   9726.1444238   0.00011661   0.00099278   0.0001   8960.57   0.0001116

over 450 swaps since last update, but it is slowing down due to the swaps being of the change from the gen0 utxo.

still 83%+ sold in this amount of time, with verified whale resistance.

It seems quite a good result

Great!

For the chart in Barterdex, will there be an option to include the overall value of the coin based on coinmarketcap?

Will there be anything unique about the chart system?

hi,

can anyone please tell me what this error message means (in windows komodogui wallet and komodo-cli):
"error code: -1
error message:
CDB: Error, -30972, can´t open database"

i never managed to sync in windowsgui wallet

but i get this same message when i try it in cmd, with  "komodo-cli.exe getinfo"

keep getting same error.
please anyone?

i have wallet.dat with komodos, but cant sync any gui or nongui wallet
You could be using a deprecated version of the wallets. I suggest downloading the latest Agama version (25) and once installed you should be able to use the same wallet files. Before you install a new version please make sure you take a backup of your wallet.dat. The error you are seeing could be due to a corrupted DB. Therefore a resynch should be done on the new wallet. If you still have issues after making the new install you can reach out to support.komodoplatform.com and we will guide you or provide remote assistance.

hi, thank you. that worked. i finally see kmd in ballance.

but still not fully synced,,, and sync is very slow. i have like 30minutes of just starting and then 30 minutes of syncing and then i have to restart wallet// like 10-15 times a day. error i get now is: "Error reading KMD stdout"

many thanks

Hi, I'm getting the same `Error reading KMD` using agama 0.27a (latess release). I've just reinstalled the wallet and synced once at 100%
seen then I always receive the error when re-opening Agama.
If someone figure out what exact file need to be replaced, Quote this message please

PIZZA and BEER dICO test was a fantastic success, shared 1st place went to CHMEX and blackjok3r, the latter who manually used the GUI overnight to accumulate 20%

Due to this landmark success, I will also be giving out 7 shared second place prizes to the rest of the top 10 finishers.

Congratulations to all

4000 atomic swaps in less than a day. I wonder when the press will start noticing
