I'm surprised community pool idea didn't fly this time, only whales with +500k KMD can affect individual candidate chances to win a NN, community pool would have given small guys a chance to pool votes and then get 100% of net profits. No brainer idea, I think too much apathy for small investors, leave the whales to negotiate the deals for much less % in private. If a guy is really committed to getting a notary he will pay for his chance, so he probably makes a good operator, but community pool would share all profits with small hodler, so no need for whales at all. Crazy, epic fail little guys ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Good point, community pools likely next year, if KMD hits a new ATH this year it's a certainty almost. I read some people saying profit share is too small to bother with, well my bank pays 2% on a 12 month term deposit, so it's all relative IMO. For argument's sake, assume a community pool won a notary with ~1 mil VOTES/KMD, so NN yearly net profits were divided into 1 mil pieces. Do the math, at KMD=10USD and ~1500 KMD NN profits per month, 1500*10 USD*12 months = 180K profit With 10mil KMD invested, that would be ~1.8% return. I don't know what running a NN would cost, but if KMD exceeds 10 USD later this year a community pool could be offering competitive % rates with a bank term deposit, and everyone would still have access to their KMD.

Crazy, epic fail little guys ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) We all want to elect the best possible NN operators, I think that's a given. The task is how best to compare different candidates. Some assume candidates buying VOTES would be more likely to run less reliable notaries, although I don't conclude that myself, and don't see the logic of that proposition. A determined candidate wants to win a place, and securing support by sharing revenue can help do that, but it doesn't follow that this guy would be more unreliable or dishonest just because he is determined to win, and is prepared to take a smaller return for himself to do so. Actually, I see the opposite, a guy who takes a smaller profit to secure a NN is thinking long term, and a guy who says vote for me and I will do some good projects might be saying anything just to get elected, and might run a terrible node. People can say one thing and not do it (some did last time), but a candidate who offers profit sharing for VOTES can't easily back away from that, else have their rep trashed publicly. It's easy to use community rep and past performance to judge candidates running a second time or to get additional nodes, but for new entrants making promises about future projects and undertakings that will benefit KMD etc, I am less convinced, and guys can promise one thing and deliver a lot less or it turns out their projects mostly benefit themselves. What I want to know is do candidates have to declare if they're paying someone else to run their node, are all current candidates running their own nodes now, or are some still hiring guys like badass? That turns me off much more than a tech guy sharing profits for votes, unless that person does some amazing work for komodo. Hiring a node operator only makes sense for community pools.

Who am i?I am an IT expert and systems engineer. I’ve formed part of the Komodo team since 2017. During which time I contributed to Komodo in the form of development towards the KomodoQT (KomodoOcean) wallet - the world's first GUI wallet for a zero knowledge fork that supports KMD and all its parallel chains. Additionally I assist the team in testing and development of new dapps. Why Vote for Decker? In addition to the wallet development I took part in the creation of the first CHIPS wallet, building BarterDEX core for Windows. Active member of the community with plans to support the platform in the long term. Notary node funds will increase my resources to improve Komodo dapps. Proven Skills- I can handle a wide spectrum of the Komodo infrastructure.
- Deployment and support fail-safe work of KMD and parallel chain explorers, hosted on my own VDS servers.
- Software testing, software programming.
- Making blockchain snapshots, writing and translate documentations for users.
I’ve decided to become a candidate for the European / Asia and Russia regions and I count on your support! How to Vote?VOTE address: RARcozaVAMZaXJaL6KWMSw297xTYzbDwa3 zVOTE address: zc9re8upRd4zZQ7Zs1qm1BnsXtEQ8yhQm3UeWkAugto5FwfgH6NoKTGqKM47K2QNus3CV5h3Kd3wUfzzjctZvj5S3EDFZqH

Guys, prompt where I can look at what projects were and will be on Komodo blockchain? I am familiar only with Monaize, but the company I have dragged on, doubt that there will be success. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Having said that, Blocnation and Utrum are the two scheduled to ICO in April.

As far as I understood, all addresses of all coins in Agama are derived from the seed. I am wondering if it is possible to imply to other addresses if one address is known. For example, if I share my BTC address generated with Agama, is it possible to imply from that to my Komodo address?
Anyone here who can answer my question? That's a question that concerns me at the moment. Also I would like to know if it is planned to add Ethereum (inclduing ERC20 tokens) to Agama wallet?

A notary operator needs good skill levels in server admin which plenty of guys in crypto have. What they need just as much is time to focus on their nodes 24/7 and follow dev slack channels for updates. That doesn't mean working fulltime on just komodo , but working in crypto fulltime is obviously a BIG advantage. Most guys here are looking for the same thing, multitasking on multiple crypto gigs that generate enough income streams so you can quit non crypto employment. I think 1000 USD a week per NN is a very good wage, anything above that is cream, and for guys with multiple nodes ... gravy train. Next years election will look like the start of the New York marathon
