I heard that Komodo's speed of translation is faster than VISA. Is it true? If so, why is the project's token in such a sorry state?

Entire market is in a sorry state, and I think that those numbers of transactions was in a tested state right? If someone can correct me? Like it was a tested spam attack on the network but it didn show like 40k tps or something?

I think a lot of coins have a huge tps throughput, but all don't offer what komodo does with privacy and smart contracts. Def some upside here with komodo vs other smart token platforms.

Any update on the supposed rebrand later this year?

I agree, the whole market today is just awful. I have already lost almost all the hopes that once there will be a market turn.  I have not heard about new updates on the network.

Komodo shows a short-term floor.  We would wait for more confirmation as the potential for lower levels still exists!

The demand from KMD will come from:

1. It's features such as 5.1% APR reward, 51% resistant, scalability, continuing improvements( more and more features will be added, the latest is CC) - Better coin
2. DEX has 0 confirmation features which requires you to deposit and lock in KMD depending on the size of trades you want to do for a period of times. ( with this use case alone, KMD will be very scarce if DEX adoption scales up pretty quickly)
3. Multiple ASSETs dividends are paid in KMD ( which required to be purchased in KMD)
4. JUMBLR service requires KMDs to use.
5. dPOW Notarization service will require KMD ( around 300 KMD a year for each project) - Some projects might decide to hold 6000 KMD so that it will produce 300 kmd from 5.1% APR  to substitute for the annual fee - imagine lots of projects doing this.
6. I believe more services will be developed in the future which will require KMD to use as well because KMD is the fuel of this ecosystems.
7. Some marketplaces have started accepting KMDs.
8. Some Dicos give bonuses to investors if they invest in KMD - which drives demands.
9. peer2.krd let people use debit card without having to deal with bank - reloadable with KMD / BTC

I know the KMD platform is the good one for many crypto-currencies and also smart contract as well but it seems there are not still many marketing plans for community to join. If KMD is widely disseminated to users , I think it will become second ETH platform as used to be .

The notarization process is rather simple.  3rd party chain has notaries that record the last valid blockhash by incorporating it as metadata in a transaction on the KMD network. KMD does the same with its blockhash and writes it to BTC network .  This notarization can be referenced to see if anyone has tampered with the network.  You can condense an infinite amount of data into a finite string through hash functions.  If the hashes don't match up something has been altered.
