How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin?

I think at this point bitcoin users very much. I can not guess how many hundreds of millions or billions. but if we look at the site blockchain purses, wallets blockchain themselves have created 9 million wallet. I think because blockchain is the official website of bitcoin transactions.

That is not enough to determine how many users are really into bitcoin. Some dont use blockchain and others have many accounts in that site. In 10 users there might be 7 of them who have multiple accounts.

why would anyone create multiple wallet accounts on blockchain.info? we are talking about a bitcoin wallet here and in a bitcoin wallet you can have multiple (as many as you want) bitcoin addresses. it is not like paypal or other crappy fiat wallet services where you can only have one receiving address

Thats right we really cant count it that way as many users make multiple account and most of us use either local wallet or exchange wallet just like the concept of anonymously maybe we ca leave it that way.

In my opinion not many people are familiar with bitcoin. In my country there many be around 1000 to 5000 will know about it and in China, us the number of user might be large still total bitcoin would be less then 2 million that is your first option. If there were some method to count the number then it would be awesome.

My prediction is based on my real life situation behave I have friend circle of around 3000 in Facebook and whatsapp and among that only 15 to 30 person knows about it and 80% of them are below 20 years so there would not be a large number of people using it.

Daily use? probably not even half a million. But traders and hodlers make the bulk of the market.

For me, less than 1 million. I'd say that there is 450 000 Bitcoin users, so slightier less than 2 millions.

Obviously we cant tell how many people use bitcoin, Bitcoin is anonymously used by peoples and you can determine the millions of people used it.
If your question is how many millions of people are using bitcoin for a day , We can give a estimate answer in that question.
Maybe my answer is 2 million  people or under it per day maybe? If i based on this forum or on other forums here, on fb and on other social media sites

There are over 7 billion people in this world. I do believe we're part of a +10M users base. In India there are a lot of users, not just 10.000. China uses Bitcoin a lot, the country controls the highest part of mining worldwide. A few months ago I read there have been 10 million users reached. The number of people that are using or used Bitcoin in the past is not very informative and important per se, I mean for anything other than trivial curiosity, at least. If we want to evaluate the Bitcoin adoption and whether it expands, contracts, or remains the same, we should rather look at the stats of Bitcoin transactions and their change over time. The best metric that I can come up with is the number of transactions processed daily as well as its change over months and years...

As to me, this metric allows to gauge the adoption rate most accurately

Yeah true, and those types of traders are probably around 5 - 10 percent of the users

nope i think it will be more than that, even for a bitcoin users in this forum just over 600K user course bitcoin users in the world will be more than that?
I think the total users will range between 5 million users

I don't have any info about the number of people using bitcoin but if we make some calculation then I think that we should include also the people who use altcoins.
Because at least they used bitcoin to buy altcoins(during the ICO or on exchanges) so they are counted also as bitcoiner.

in the whole planet you wont find a million people using bitcoin and how can you compare with just your country ,judging by the way bitcoin performs a certain group of individuals holds a large pool of coins which they gathered long back and majority of the rest are big time investors and miners, my guess is less than a million people are active in bitcoin

yes is true, many people using bitcoin in the world. bitcoin has many benefits and you will get some earn from bitcoin if joining a signature campaign, trading or earn from a faucet. So I think many people using bitcoin.

its really hard until now to know wahts the actual number but most of us for sure influence already some of our friends and relatives to also use and invest with bitcoin for sure from day to day more and more people are also acquiring so if just for guessing might be possible to have atleast 10M+ just for my personal guess though.

10M+ people maybe good number but it will keep increase as we know more people that know about bitcoin and it already spread to people around the world, in 2017 it will be more than 20M i think
