Expanse recently integrated the parity changes with the help of Dr. Gav Wood (eth dev); with the updates to the client, and other developmental progress with borderless, the governance application on expanse - I would say its time the crypto community takes a serious look at this underdog primed to become a major competitor in the space.

Evening alone? Fancied a bit of coding? Me too. So I put #expanse EXP support in to #parity. https://github.com/ethcore/parity/pull/2369

Something hardly to take seriously. Ethereum classic has a better chance to succeed than Expanse. I am not saying that it has no chance but let us live in reality here.

The reality is that Expanse has stayed par for the course, do you know of any other Ethereum forks/clones that havent switched to an alternate chain (besides ETC obviously) - additionally Expanse is the original fork of ethereum, the first fork. So I would argue that expanse has far more legitimacy than ETC. Also, who are the developers of ETC anyway?

EXP is a pump and Dump shit coin with a big premine.

this is one of the real SCAM 2.0 here, if you invest a single cent you are buying nothing.

I could be wrong but I heard the premine is locked down and only released for development over the next years???

This is done correctly is the best way to fund development

No, I doubt about that statement. Wasn't Shift the original fork ? I think it is more that.

Chris Franko and Dan Conway are the main devs, NRpattern designed a few of the wallets and slack bots, Sevia is the designer who does most of the visual content, and web design.

the benefit is that there are alternative directions in development. Expanse can always divert from ethereum if better tech comes along, but for now expanse is following the path of ethereum. One major difference is that expanse does not have the mining difficulty bomb, which some experts predict are going to cause roadbumps in ethereum's near future. Secondly, when ethereum switches to PoS, expanse will either stay PoW, or switch to a hybrid PoS/PoW or go completely PoS - i think the main consensus right now is going to be a hybrid. So those right there are two of the primary differences, other than the difference in supply and marketcap. As a developer, it would be cheaper to start off with expanse by a large margin.

the DAO is being developed and should be released in the next 3-6 months which will control the reserve. Community members will vote on projects and allocation of resources.. As expanse grows, so will the value and the magnitude of the fund itself, which would provide perpetual resources for development. exponentially expansive

so let see what will happen after those time frame if what effect can be taken and what the community will choose i dont have any participation yet but im looking forward to see if what this coin project can bring and deliver. good luck dev.
