What you see is probably the burning address, which is:
0x1b32000000000000000000000000000000000000

Since we burned around 33M with 66M remaining, it's showing that it owns 50% of NxC, which is a weird calculation because the total NXC created was 100M anyway.
But that's probably the explanation you are looking for. We chose this burning address so nobody confuses the NXC we burned with anything else, and also because it has a nice red space invader on the Ethereum icon

Hey, what is the main philosophy behind a token for a video game? Someone care to explain?

For us, it revolves around 2 principles.

The first one is to create a fair digital second-hand market for video games. People owning BTV game items have true ownership over them. They can exchange them within our shop without any additional fees from us (except the usual blockchain transaction fee), but also also outside BTV context as our assets are Ethereum ERC-20 compatible.
Our shop is working with an Ethereum smart contract, and all the transactions are completely decentralized.

The second one is to create cross-gaming assets. As these game items are blockchain assets, so public & open source, anybody can choose to implement a corresponding functionality in their game or app. Of course, we try to develop partnerships with other indiegames to make it happen (we already have a partnership with Spells of Genesis, a counterparty based trading card game). We also plan to develop other games with the same background and to make a whole ecosystem of games using the same game assets, all exchangeable with our Nexium tokens.

So not only a player will be able to use his purchase in several games, but he will also be able to sell it back on the market.

I see, just wondering, have you guys communicated if this is ok with Steam? I am concerned about possible conflicts of interest with Steam, since Steam dollars can't be liquidated for Fiat and NXC is a gateway to fiat.

You should read more about cross-gaming and shared assets, NXC and blockchain make you true owner of your game items and even allow you to move them into another project (cross-gaming).

You can earn cryptocurrency indirectly, since you could win on-chain game assets that you can sell. They are liquid and operable across platforms, unlike traditional game items from World of Warcraft, EVE Online, etc.

Generate a private key from a public key is not possible.
Fun fact: looking for an address finishing with 36 zeros "by chance" would take around 100 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 years if the whole Ethereum network tried to find it

We are looking to implement one more soon, during the Early Access. We don't know yet how many will be available for full release, it's too soon to tell.

Looks like we did. After the game launches I believe we have a big chance of getting up to 20k sat so HODL your bags gents. Also, when NXC will start being used as the actual game currency (from what I understood right now they still use some kind of test currency) we might see it blow up and go to 2-3USD or more.
