In games of chance I don't think experience matters except in the case of brand new players who do not understand the game (Eg play at 99.99x on a dice game not realizing the odds)
well it depends on what type of gambling you're playing. for games like dice and roulette where in you basically rely on the draw's luck, then the chances or a newbie and an experienced gambler is pretty much the same. though for those games like poker, i think experience would be the most important thing you need |

Certainly, the experience was very important in every respect. experience is the best teacher,
we can learn from experience or learn from the past.
Even in gambling, experience is a very important thing, because we are able to think about the risk before placing a bet.
But in games of chance there is not a lot to learn except the rules of the game and if you are playing on-line you need to get used to the interface and that is pretty much it. |

Life experience definitely matters, especially being wise and cold headed. You should treat gambling as an entertainment not as a way of getting rich and this is one of the most common problems for addicts. If you can consider your money gone the minute you bet you would be much better off. If you lose, well you had a good time playing and if you win that's awesome, a deal you won't get paying for a movie ticket or a game.

No man, it's important.. It's like in sports where young teams meet the veteran team, of course the veteran team has a good chance of winning as they have been in the situation many time due to experience, although young team are more aggressive but veteran team has the right timing. |

If you know a lot about a sport and a certain league, sports betting can be quite profitable since the bookies often get the lines wrong for more obscure games.

In my opinion experience is good to know how much you can bet, and when is better to stop betting. For other things, it depends mostly on luck (if you don't have a lucky day expererience will not help you to win on dice betting). On sport betting or strategy games like poker or blackjack, experience could help you with more provabilities to win.

So experience still does matter right? Well you are right in some ways if we are going to prefer only in playing gambling then obviously everyone can play without any experience but as you have stated that when it comes to winning you should first experience it before understanding the situation |

I think experience is important for gambler because it can be useful for them in terms of risk management but if this means "experience needed to win most of the time" well this is impossible . In my opinion we only need experience just to manage the risk and our loss with experience we are able to analyze every situation and also to manage our bets in order to prevent too much loss .

Experience does matter in every thing whether it is gambling or anything else. Experience doesn't mean you will not see any loss it just help you to know where was wrong decision and what actually didn't work it past. I will say more important is, did you really learn anything from experience or not in gambling as well to handle better next time.
