There is only one way experience can help and that is to know when to fold and when to hit. You have to know when to quit. You always against the house edge though. You cannot change that. However many sites offer a reduction of the house edge and sometimes have a happy hour where it is 0%
Almost every gambler misses out in this aspect on when to get out,when you start winning you never know when to stop and you will try to win the extra bit and that is a problem everyone encounters.House edge is just a number and the plan must be to win the maximum in a short period and get out,even with a 0% house edge you will get busted if you are in a bad streak.For poker and card games you need to have experience when you are playing online ,the rest you need luck. |

Very well said that most of the games are designed to make everyone lose, but there comes the role of control that stops the wave of addiction to get more out of gambling where experience is actually needed because experience is the only thing that makes you learn and remember from all your mistakes and stop you from repeating them again in future. |

The benefits is more on the minimizing of loses because it's hard to win, but if you have an experience and you will improve your method at the same time I guess that could be successful in gambling someday. Your experience will help you choose the right game for you as when you have a lot of experience you surely tried almost every game you want but you can only choose few that can give you a chance to win in the long run. |

Im agreed on you. Experience in gambling is very helpful in every scenario that we encountered in gambling we can make a good decision in every bet that we made. Thats a nice explanation of your opinion simple but have a big difference on thinking of other gamblers . Experience is not always on focus on how to win or any strategic moves in gambling. I agree since you have past experience on this thing and even went through on the scenario where you are winning and failed to quit in time resulting in losing all your money. Experience is indeed needed to decide and act accordingly in tight situation and exit with profit or little loss. Thouse who think that experience is not needed is indeed a newbie in gambling. |

Yes it obviously matters if it comes about gambling. New players get much excited and most of the time they loose money. If you are not experienced enough you won't be able to decide how much to put on risk. and what to expect. So its one of the most important thing. good luck |

True. In gambling experience just makes us calm and always gives us space to think in between bets. the longer the experience of the gambler, the more they are relaxed in betting and in choosing. Newbies are impulsive, they are easily carried away by their emotions. But all of us pass thru being a newbie in gambling, we know how it feels to panic and learn from it and we always carry that always. But when it comes to winning, I believe that it is not just experience that we need. |

A person that is willing to learn about gambling? That's new I guess but for me experience is a big factor when it comes to gambling. Because when I was new in gambling, all of the games that I've played is hard to play but when you had experience on it you know what are the games that you should play and must familiarize. i believe what his comment means is that you should be willing and trying to learn from all the experiences you are gaining from gambling. for example when you bet and lose and continue to do so until you have no more bankroll, you should learn that this was a mistake. or like those many who win but continue gambling until they lose all of it again. there is a saying that insanity is repeating a mistake over and over and expecting different results each time. |

When it comes to lottery, number games, and sports betting no experience is needed ( some people are analyzing team statistics and intuition ). This said sports only involbe probability statistics mathematics and pure luck. No matter how long you are betting your team in NBA, if the players cant win the game they cant win the game and you wont win the bet. No matter how long you are buying lottery tickets, if you are not the lucky person who will win, you wont win.
In card games of course it involves experience, yes it involves luck but there are people that through experience they developed thier analysation skills, intuition and guts. A experienced gambler knows and feel when to stop and when to have a bet.
Gambling is hard tho' thats why it is a gamble you either win or loss. But experience is important because a long the way you will learn how to bear defeat and know when to stop.

Mostly I agree with you, but certainly not about sports betting. Just like playing poker, we need an experience that we get with time - the longer someone plays, the better should be. With sports betting is needed not only experience but also high knowledge about players and league situation, even politic decions inside clubs. For me sports betting need the highest skills to be profitable. |
