I've lost a good sum with panic selling and panic buying, really newbie mistakes, and looking back I actually did good choices when selling...

I've also lost by not doing proper research before invest, although very small sum.

My main problem so far was greed . In some cases ( like NAUT ) i trippled my money and yet didn't sell untill small profit . So far i'm doing great , have trippled my bankroll in some months . If i can solve the greed problem though my graph will skyrocket .

One of my few mistakes in trading which i will always remember is buying many alts in peak values expecting them to pump more after seeing them pumping in last 24 hour with almost +100% gain price. Never buy any altcoin at those peak price is the biggest lesson in my altcoin trading career.

i've done pretty much done every mistake out there and i'm sure i'll do more. i've gotten bored with alts and sold them before they exploded. I bought in at the peaks of the biggest hypes ever. i've become emotionally attached to totally worthless coins.

i make mistake in quickly selling altcoin because in just less than 5 minutes, the price is going to the moon and if i am not selling my altcoin stock, i can reach 300% profit for just one night but i never regret it and i think my profit is just on the low rate. for tomorrow, i hope i can be patient for a while and not panic to selling my altcoin.

With tiny trades back and forth on the same exchange, do not let fees kill you.  A lot of people think that keeping their trades small that they are spreading out their risk between the trades.  the only issues is that each trade has its fee and if you have only made a small amount in the trade, you may either lose money or break even.  Just like trading stocks on the internet you can get killed this way on small things.  $5.95 per trade is pretty big for the penny stock trader on e-trade or wherever, lol.

My worst mistake just following the people is dumping the coin(panic selling), if the coin is getting a big decreased situation. and I lost a lot of my money... and till this time I never following the another be a panic sell. and just stay and enjoying my trading journey and I never worried about every condition.

getting excited when price rise up not knowing thats a lots more to come that usually happen to me and sometimes i play like a fomo keep tracking the price without realizing that is was only been manipulated and losses in short run.

there are too many mistakes to count, many are mistakes that i have made and many are those that i have seen other make:

• the biggest one is listening to bag-holders who are trying to get rid of their own bags. this is the worst because you buy into an illusion (bubble) and get dumped on so you lose a lot of money because the price will decline big time
• another big mistake is fear. fear of missing out or fear of losing. this is the reason why we see lots of panic buy/sells
• another thing that i can think of is waiting around for too long. price never waits for us to make a decision slowly it goes up just as fast as it falls with pumps/dumps

Yes mistakes can lose your money especialy in altcoins trading when buy a coin that can not rise up.
So its bettet to check first the coins before you gonna buy to avoiding lost money. Many altcoins now are getting scam after a week they become dead and not rise up again.

the mistakes that I can tell you about is buying some of the coins that died after I bought them, although this was happening more often in the early days that I started trading but they happen from time to time because of the nature of most altcoins.

but because it is trading I never lose much because I dump them when I reach my stop loss.

Most of the time that troller are present to make ypu confuse and panic thats the common mistakes of a trader especially new one they listen to that trollers.
Remeber what warren buffet said ...  advice “Buy when everyone else is fearful and sell when everyone else is greedy".

Just small portion by buying or selling, almost because I didn't researched well before. But all of that was in 2014 (that years I lost ~5BTC for nothing, I mean, gambling, scams, investing and trading). But when I stop been a panic person I was much more confident and my best investment came by researching well and deeply and it wad when I bought 10.000ETH.
