This is a difficult thing since I know bitcoin, it all looks messed up when there is a segwit and hard fork issue, I hope this is not the end of bitcoin and I still get the price more than $2900 like a month ago.

Yeah it is true. It is really good decision if we invest our btc to the altcoins. I agree to you that some of the altcoins have high growth potential. Long term investment is really effective way to make a good profit.

I think selling bitcoin to buy altcoins is not good right now because if bitcoin prices continue to fall then altcoin prices will also fall. I advise to hold bitcoin until the price goes back up or maybe if you have more funds, I suggest to buy bitcoin because many people predict bitcoin price will touch $ 3000 in the future.

My plans still are to invest on bitcoin until I achieve the target goal amount I am aiming for, probably after 5 years I will venture into businesses outside the cryptoworld and maybe put up a small store for daily earnings in my own currency and get my capital from the money I'm saving for the future. We still don't know what our future will bring especially in the cryptoworld but I have high hopes it'll double up or even quadruple the value after a couple of years from now.

did you even bothered with the current biggest accident that probably happened in the next couple weeks about bitcoin could have two version? a lot of peolple have make their own speculation that bitcoin existence with its split accident wouldn't as great as right now, wouldn't as strong as right now. the value itself could get corrected massively and noone know when it would get recovered. but yeah at least keep putting your dream in bitcoin, there's no harm to do that.

I agree with you.That price may not be impossible to reach since bitcoin nowadays becomes more in demand to people.Since the price of bitcoin today decreases,i prefer to hold my bitcoin for a long-term investment.I am really positive on bitcoin that it will recover its price and will continue to rise for the next coming days and years.

I would like to just hold my bitcoins in my wallet.Even though,there is a fear of hard fork among bitcoin holders and due to which bitcoin price is falling down temporarily,still i hope that bitcoin price would skyrocket after segwit activation.

I know this is not the end of bitcoin yet but it's the end of journey to those investors who will panic and sell their bitcoins due to this coming segwit.
Let's calm down, that's what should be do to ensure that we are safe because the price will be back on it's normal trend which keeps increasing.
My analysis with what is happening is that whales are making people panic to take advantage of the cheap coins, that's it.

Or they implement SegWit2 with majority in favor, it works as planned/hoped, and BTC heads back north.  I really hope English is not your first language.

My plan is just to save the biggest percentage of it as much as possible and spending the rest for investments that can lead for more gain and profit and I can also use some to finance myself but my main plan is to save it for better and use it if needed for future purposes.

I know the time will come that I will be holdinf a lot of bitcoin and the time will also come bitcoin price will reach again its highest price.
