Interesting

1. Fork the bitcoin repo
2. Change the hashGenesisBlock and a few other values in main.cpp
3. find ./ -type f -exec sed -i ‘s/Bitcoin/Shinkicker-Coin/’ {} \;
4. ??
5. Profit!

It really is that easy?

Been done before. Some premining, then release, then pump and dump.

Bytecoin seems to be unique in the world of Altcoins in that it is one of the few that wasn't premined at all.

So I am guessing this is still SHA256 hash alg?

If so, uber fail on Maria's part.

ASICs will destroy this chain.

Because ASICs are totally going to stop mining BTC and mine some useless coin..

BTW, ASIC-proof is a bad thing.
