Let me say that I really like the idea of an altcurrency that doesn't change anything from the Bitcoin design. I am hoping people stay with this.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

All the blocks I find are rejected, can someone please explain exactly why is this?
Difficulty is very low at moment. Blocks are being found every few seconds, yours are being orphaned. Difficulty can only increase at a maximum multiple of 4 every re-target. Next difficulty will be a maximum of 256.

I am having some fun with this coin, and I see from the daemon on my mining server...so are many others.. "blocks" : 6204, "connections" : 52, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 64.00000000,
Watching pushpool with the level 2 debugging and three rigs logged on looks like a free running counter that hiccups every several seconds when a block is found. JSON protocol request: {"method": "getwork", "params": [], "id":75824}
* Re-using existing connection! (#0) with host (nil) * Connected to (nil) (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) port xxxx (#0) * Server auth using Basic with user 'miner' > POST / HTTP/1.1 Authorization: Basic xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Host: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip Content-type: application/json Content-Length: 49

Up to id tag 75,824 with 3 rigs in only a couple of hours... That is with no difficultly reduction, the pool is passing the difficulty straight through . Maybe if I finish the new login and payout code, I could offer the pool publicly. It would be a great opportunity to test the new code in the wild with little risk (in terms of $$).

1000 BTE = 1 Pizza Translates more to 1000 BTE = 0.1 BTC than 21000 BTE to 0.1 BTC

I just paid $11.98 to have someone make and deliver a pizza to brie! I received 1000 BTE in return. Thus BTE's official value in USD is currently $0.01198!

You are asking for a third of all BTE out there right now.
