Yes, the hash power will be combined for each payout address so you'll get the BTE from each worker as you should.

I had the same with the LTC p2pool. After a while, the LTC arrived anyway. It may be the same here, I'm using the same software (hacked minimally to support Bytecoin). The hacking has probably made sure it will not be able to communicate with other p2pool nodes for bytecoin though, should anyone ever decide to set any up.

If this bytecoin thing outlives the week, I'll consider making the proper modifications and forking the p2pool project on github to publish my mods

Did you find a share yet? It's possible that the software doesn't list you before you find a share. I'm honestly not very sure how it divides payouts. It looks like it does it by # shares found.

Shares are pretty easy to find, my cpu miner even finds the occasional share at 20kH/s. It doesn't receive much (0.01/block or somesuch), but it does get something.
