Just like this is what i am talking about. seatrips does a writeup "This is an ARK Pool set up by @seatrips and @lepetitjan. You will receive a share of the forged blocks of the pool delegate (seatrips). How much? That depends on the voting weight of the address you use to vote seatrips".But does not mention how much will need to get paid so i send funds for vote and not get a return  for i do not know what balance i need in wallet not good

1. You don't send funds to vote. Keep them in the wallet you vote from. You only need to spend 1 ark to activate your vote.

2. Reward is proportional. If you vote with a very small amount of ark, it may not be worth the transaction fee to send your reward every time. The pools normally have a minimum payout.

E.g. seatrips pays out after you reach 1 ark. So if your reward is 0.2 ark, you'll be waiting 5 times longer for payout.

Note: Seatrips has a voter with over 1 million Ark, accounting for over 80% of the weight, which means your voting weight is likely to be tiny on that pool.

When I chose my delegate, I had a look at the other voters to make sure I'd count for a decent amount of weight.

There's a few factors to consider when voting. A 90% payout sounds good, but it's worth less when a big balance is getting most of the reward.

There's nothing wrong with this, of course. It's how the system was designed. As cannabanana said in an earlier post, pick a pool that's forging, but lower down in rank.

(... and check the other voters to get an idea of your voting weight)

Where can we see the weight of other voters?
thanks!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

On https://explorer.ark.io/delegateMonitor, pick a delegate, then select "voters"

Look at the balance of each voter address, and get a rough idea, or you could calculate it exactly.

Seatrips made it easy on their site: https://arkpool.seatrips.eu (scroll down)

Are there any plans to implement a similar breakdown (per delegate) in the block explorer, cannabanana?

nice to watch that price is more than 6k now and it was even 9k, hope that current 6k price will be the lowest this year, waiting to the moon, or atleast road to the 20k next month:)

I hope soo. But i think many ARK distribution for bounties

bounties are already been distributed.   Bounty dumping probably already happened.

but how to redim it?
i get just my ICO ark...
nothing about reward...
i'm signed with YES here
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sram9jnZFqkDSWYIuTE_-QsxihzbcIa28DoYDdsrWu8/edit#gid=0

did you verify your tec email but not give the right email?

you should contact boldninja
And what about translation bounties? has they also been distributed? how do I claim mine?

Did you provide TEC.ARK.IO email in time (before main net to me ?) If not you'll need to DM me you ARK address and we'll need to process you manually.

hi BoldNinja..
i just open ark wallet in my home pc...
i'm in remote desktop using teamviewer 12.
i open ark wallet but i see just a black box!!!
in newest release can you fix it plz!!
thank you

This is a security feature to prevent someone from screenshoting / accessing your wallet from remote. You can temporarily disable this in console.

yes dude, said it like 10 times already.

As long as the person you are voting for is forging they will send you ARK on their timeline.  It could be every day, it could be ever week or every month.  It's up to the delegate.

Do you own research but if you vote for them, that's it.  You get a portion of their ARK as long as they are forging based on your % vs other voters.  forever.

Where can we see the weight of other voters?
thanks!

On https://explorer.ark.io/delegateMonitor, pick a delegate, then select "voters"

Look at the balance of each voter address, and get a rough idea, or you could calculate it exactly.

Seatrips made it easy on their site: https://arkpool.seatrips.eu (scroll down)

Are there any plans to implement a similar breakdown (per delegate) in the block explorer, cannabanana?

https://www.arknode.net/VoteReport.txt

click this link, it's a quick and easy breakdown to the specific amount of votes. auto updated every 2 minutes.

was made by a great community member.

Yeah that's cool, but I mean one like Seatrips has where it shows the weight per voter, per delegate.

E.g.

Arkpool - 2%, 2 voters

Voters:

Cannabanaba - 60%
Mendeleev - 40%

Then you would know I'd get 40% of the reward, and you'd get 60% (on a proportional distribution)

At the moment, I can calculate it manually, but it would be cool if it was part of the explorer.

Or is it better to let delegates and/or voters work it out themselves? E.g. Seatrips has a nice site with voter breakdown, which might be considered a competitive edge.

true that would be a nice feature but what about privacy?  Do you really NEED to know what and who others are making?  You should know your own address.

But will ask Gr33ndrag0n who made this awesome tool for us.

Okay thanks. Now is there any way that there can be a unvote put on wallet for what you and others have said to unvote does not work.Every time i uncheck then put new deligate in and refresh it goes away and the old one comes back on screen under votes. And tried to vote for the new deligate that i put in with the box checked and all it says is can not vote for 2.

it's working fine.  when you first place the vote, it adds it locally on the wallet.  IF you click or refresh BEFORE it hits the blockchain, it will disappear.  Once it hits the blockchain it will reappear.

Give it some time between votes and unvotes as it needs time to do all the calculations on the blockchain for your decision.  votes take a little bit longer than regular tx to process.

it's working fine.  when you first place the vote, it adds it locally on the wallet.

Thanks makes more sense now then to just refresh and it would be gone.Sorry some of us are not that young anymore to understand i am 75 now

I am wondering when we vote is the return forever as long as the deligate is mineing pool?.Why i ask then i would increase my weight

yes dude, said it like 10 times already.

As long as the person you are voting for is forging they will send you ARK on their timeline.  It could be every day, it could be ever week or every month.  It's up to the delegate.

Do you own research but if you vote for them, that's it.  You get a portion of their ARK as long as they are forging based on your % vs other voters.  forever.

true that would be a nice feature but what about privacy?  Do you really NEED to know what and who others are making?  You should know your own address.

But will ask Gr33ndrag0n who made this awesome tool for us.

I was thinking more for deciding who to vote for. E.g. if I can immediately see my reward would be tiny, I move on.

But yeh, maybe it makes it too easy/exposed.

Thanks for passing the idea on though  Grin

Once we'll know when we launch we'll give everyone an update before we go live. ETA is already said to be end of February / beginning of March don't know what else you want from us currently regarding timeline? Once we have a set date for launch we'll let everyone know.

At least to update the tec.ark.io/dashboard to know how many ARK will we receive.

Hm, in my dashboard I can see "Amount of Arks you will receive: ...".

Where do you see this, I just re-checked my ARK dashboard but it only shows 0 ARK nothing else.

uhh probably because there's people out there that are receiving more than JUST a bounty.........come on man, there's people who actually gave a crap about us and not using us as a bounty source......

It has been almost a months since I posted here my issue and nobody cares to reply or even send a message.

How is the development going and when can we see our real balance on the dashboard because it's been a while since it is showing only 0 ARKS.

If you are referring to bounties - we answered they will be distributed around main net launch. All bounty participants have 0 ARK in dashboard (if you didn't exchange any lisk / btc) , those who exchanged their LISK / BTC have balance already in dashboard. Development is going great a lot of progress done in the past few weeks and core is prepped for main net.

Finally I'm able to see now that my dashboard balance has been updated and I'm very happy to see that I'm estimated to have 1039 ARKS.

Now I'm worried how can I use and spend them, is there any exchange that has listed ARK in their exchange websites?
