Does it show balance in your ARK desktop wallet? If it does its OK - cold wallet will change to normal wallet once you send something out (since this will be the first time it will actually interact with the network)


If not you are probably using wrong settings (like nethash or forced peer) in ARK Desktop wallet. Make sure you have v1.1.0 ( https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases ). If that won't help you'll need to clear cache from your storage

Press CTRL+D in ark desktop wallet - a menu will open on the right (click on tab CONSOLE) and copy/paste this in the command line and press ENTER :

localStorage.clear();window.location.reload();

This will clear local cache now add your wallet again ("+ import address) and input your passphrase for that ARK address AVCthfdHB1RQcMVvdorkwWEEjDnXjv35Ws .

this was an ipo right? was it escrowed? someone told me ark was a scam!

I think that someone already jumped from a window after seeing how dumb he was to say that. Meanwhile ARK is already at 20k sats and climbing. 

What a looser I think he didn't expect such a huge rise like this within a month now he will be into huge shock. Ark is my best investment easy 6x in very short time of period so it will continue to make new ATH.

Anyone can make a mistake; remember the people that asked for the money back after the ICO?  All they can do now is move on or buy in higher.  As long as they are not spreading FUD, I will not call them a losser.

This is a fair point. IMHO based on the where this project is going and the technology which stands behind the name, it's probably not a bad idea to buy in even now. I know we're sitting at 20k but ARK has much more growing to do. Time spent here is evidence of that. This place was almost annoying to check back in late March because of all the people requesting money back. They all have their reasons, but it's still not too late. (Also, it's helpful to view ARK not JUST as something to make profit. There is useful tech behind it).

yes i think poloniex is the best exchange with big trading volume

polo is the one which have largest volume but it is quite hard to get listed in their. They have listed lisk just during the main net launch but they are not doing this to every crypto. We can request them to lisk ARK but the final decision will be always theirs.

I have bought few ARK from bittrex at around 6k, hoping for atleast 10k.

I'm broke as hell, because college and rent, but I'm holding onto my ARK until at LEAST cards come out, on top of that, I'm taking the little money I have and buying the dips due to launch selloff, because I know there are great things to come from this coin.
There still are developers creating use for the coin, like canna and others with press comes more investors, it's only been two days. People selling for little 1000's of satoshi are going to regret the opportunity they have to buy an amazing coin, that JUST LAUNCHED TWO DAYS AGO.

Everyone should take their time to thank the developers for being so active and supportive and working so hard!
Everyone should also take their time to suggest this to REPUTABLE exchanges.
Everyone should be patient.

a blockchain is a blockchain.  I think this should be no problem bridging up both forks if it ever comes to it, even if not through native SmartBridging but definatly through encoded listeners.

What you mean ? Bittrex have ark trade market from the launch if want sell go there. + 1-2 other markets dont remember (check OP) which Bittrex is enought for my needs and good market so I no need small other markets.

I can NOT login on bitrex, maybe a firefox plugin gone crazy. same problem with chrome!!!
That's why i look for another xchange.

Other than Bittrex you can buy ARK on cryptopia. I tried it lately with a small sum of bitcoins and worked nicely so I think it could work for you.

I found out what's wrong : in china, google services are slowed down up you can have a time fault from the server.
It is exactly that is happening now with Bitrrex or Cryptopia.

Si i am stuck with 30 k Ark...

I will try at Ao Men (Macao)  next week...hope this pumping scheme will last a couple of day
