I was able to build SILENTARMY v5 for Windows, but the performance is suboptimal. If I manage to squeeze the advertised speed on my RX 480's, I will release Windows binaries.
Any project files would be helpful so I can strip my current code and optimize it for pre maxwell v2 cards. Thank you.

Huge thanks to eXtremal for these optimizations. I merged them and released SILENTARMY v5: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md I measured a 2x speedup on some cards like the R9 Nano: - 102 sol/s on R9 Nano (up from 54 sol/s)
- 72 sol/s on RX 480
- 64 sol/s on GTX 1070
The atomic row counters and branch divergence in equihash_solve have always been the main bottleneck. I was working on packing 8 counters per uint, and reducing branch divergence, but eXtremal was done before me That's the benefit of open source; anyone can improve the code for all. for me eXtremal mode seems to be a little better for 380x r9 card.. With his 3moded files I have about 42s/s, your merge gives me about 39s/s... My 380x with modified Hynix timing gives me almost 50. anyone with no-modded ? i have 47-50 on windows with Claymore.. @mrb I have waited but it reaches not more as 44... about 42 approx...

Please do submit your changes adding Windows support Oh, absolutely. I will just make sure everything is OK before I release a patch and an Windows binary.

Anyone running this on a Tahiti ?
No, but I'm getting 45-50 on Pitcairn clocked at 1100,1550 on the 1375 Samsung strap. It's looking like these cards will never be going back to eth mining... Yeah obviously since that DAG file slowdown was making them forgotten anyways

I uploaded one here: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/releasesIt should run on most modern Linux 64-bit distros. Download sa-solver.linux64.v5 rename it to sa-solver and place it in the same directory as the silentarmy script.

NEW MRB SILENTARMY V5 DOUBLES SOLS/S-- I cloned git, compiled the new v5, and substituted the freshly compiled "sa-solver" and "silentarmy" binaries into my mining directory. Below is a before-and-after screen capture of my R9 280X rig: Four R9 280X cards, before and after SilentArmy v5 Of course, shortly after the screen capture, I began receiving shares. Lots of them! --scryptr EDIT: All of my AMD rigs (R7, R9, RX) have doubled or better the Sols/s rate. I only have one Kill-a-Watt meter, and my 4 card RX 470 rig is now mining at 530 Watts, before it was mining at 520 Watts. --scryptr

I uploaded one here: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/releasesIt should run on most modern Linux 64-bit distros. Download sa-solver.linux64.v5 rename it to sa-solver and place it in the same directory as the silentarmy script. no luck, complains about opencl lib. Nerdralph's worked..anything different? His was compiled for ubunutu 14.04...maybe that's why? nevermind, it does work. I was about to compile earlier and installed opencl dev which broke it. Thanks a whole bunch!

MY CARDS ARE STOCK POWERCOLOR TURBO DUO-- They are running at 1100/1500 core/mem. Stock clocks are 1030/1500. Memory is locked at 1500, the core can be adjusted with "atitweak" in a linux environment. I never flashed the BIOS in my 280X cards. Stilt said that the memory timing in the stock BIOS was perfect, and did not need any modification. If I crank the clocks any higher with a software tool like "atitweak", they usually crash. --scryptr

Still lots of CPU usage - I thought there was a fix for that?
Also, my 1080 getting only about 50-55, whereas the 1070s get 70+. Any tweaks there?

CPU usage was fixed... except for Nvidia. I linked to a workaround in: https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/issues/54#issuecomment-259798481
