Not surprising. Values of secure-er investments go up because of market uncertainty, and then the market closes at one of the all-time-high's the next day. Nothing too out of the ordinary, and it follows predictable market patterns. Similar to what happened almost immediately after Brexit and what happened with their markets. Stock markets dropped after Trump had been declared a winner for the simple reason that the markets didn't expect him to win, the news of his victory came in as a complete shock for the bulk of traders, and the drop was only a sort of knee-jerk reaction. In just a few days markets adapted to the new reality and quickly came back to their usual patterns.

Dollar inflation is good for bitcoin but those who look for correlation between gold and bitcoin and never find it though, will soon have to reconsider their stance when bitcoin bumps past gold prices as the threat arises that real estate enters into the bubble. Profit taking is how thats called. Ya know, what u have learned from the past recessions including 2008 crysis is what ull again fall victims for. Property pricing would lift up in normal environment, without any Trumps, but huge astronomic bonds bubble means CDS and CDO's back into play, and thats attributable to the new recession of unseen magnitude. I remember Hillary coquettishly stating a few years back that she was not going to run for presidency when she was asked directly about her presidential ambitions. Trump, in his 1990 Playboy magazine interview, had also said that becoming the president of the US was not his priority then. To his credit, he also added that he would change his mind if he saw that the US "continued to go down the tubes".

I feel like Trump is going to be the savior America was looking for for so many years. I can't find a thing that I don't like about him, a suspicious activity he had done and such things. Everything about him is just great.. He wants to save the world. America has been triggering the wars and bad events for a long time already. America has been in trouble until now, and this will influence Bitcoin's price too: the price is going to go just higher and higher!

Honestly the small jump Bitcoin made was extremely minuscule when looking at other aspects of the stock market. As always after an election, there was a drop across the board in most stocks, but practically all of those stocks that dropped came back and are up a few percentage points. Trump's pro-business policies with lower taxes on the wealthy may be factors of this. The economy should be doing fairly well under his administration.

Yes, the markets restored to their typical patterns some time after the Trump victory had been announced. If you disagree with that, you can name a specific stock market which you consider as "gone wild", and we will see if it is really so. There is not much sense in empty claims and futile argument when we can just check the facts themselves.

IMO, the prices will decline after touching the four digit exchange rate. The prices will stabilize, and for 2-3 months it will remain at sub-900 levels, before rising again to above $1,000 per coin.

Well, people were telling basically the same before the price broke through $800 resistance level. They were telling that many Bitcoin holders would start fixing profits and a major correction should be expected. I didn't completely exclude such a possibility, but I was telling about the common opinion being used as a contrary indicator. In this case, it is even more so because many people expect that the price will just bounce back once it tries to touch the $1,000 mark. That is a sort of contrary indicator.

The connection may be subtle and complex

For example, I could claim that since Trump had been constantly accusing the Chinese government throughout his presidential campaign of stealing American jobs and subsidizing Chinese exporters by deliberately devaluing the national currency, the Yuan (which is partially true, to be honest), the Chinese may be sort of retaliating on him by undermining the value of the US dollar by manipulating the Bitcoin price. They have literally trillions of dollars stacked as US Treasuries (which are basically the same dollars), thereby they could just drop them all and crash the American dollar, but that would heavily backfire on themselves. With Bitcoin appreciation, though, the effects would be less subtle and more manageable and in the end not so damaging to China itself

It can be said as not only elected but he took some good steps which are giving benefit to bitcoin and more over my calculation is if it is due to Christmas then we can see withing 1 or 2 days heavy selling dump because of everyone will be in need of fiat currency so they will start selling bitcoin to encash in fiat and enjoy Christmas and new year
