Would anyone like to see BBQcoin or Fastcoin on here instead of Luckycoin ? BBQ was supposed to die but didnt. Its mining value has remained pretty steady, so has Fastcoin. Any thoughts on this ?
Fastcoin looks to be another high rate stale/orphan coin, I'd suggest against it.

Looking at the current crop of coins that are in the top spot recently, and have a low rate of stales/orphans...
Cosmoscoin and CryptogenicBullion

I vote for Cosmoscoin and CryptogenicBullion to be added also

I get around 20% stales. Is that normal?

What settings are you using and on what card?

settings:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us:7777 -u user.1 -p x --thread-concurrency 24000 -I 20,20,14 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1475 --gpu-engine 1050 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 -g 1

cards:

3 x 7950

Try this.. move your cgminer.conf file out of your directory its in. Then delete all the .bin files, then run from a cgminer shortcut this to see correct TC.

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us:7777 -u user.1 -p x -I 13,13,13 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1475 --gpu-engine 1050 --auto-fan --no-submit-stale

After you run it.. let it start mining. Ignore hashrate, its on I 13 for a reason here. After you see it mining and successfully sending shares, save a new config file (S,W,Enter). Then see the new .bin's with correct TC for the Tahiti's (7950s). Use this tc number from the bin to set it in your .conf file. Try running at I-19 also, may be more efficient on fast coins. Also, you prob need to tweak your GPU core and Mem some more. I have same cards and I'm close to 700kh/s at 1150/1650 no errors, few stales.

GL!

thx! i will give it a try. at the moment stales are around 10%. yesterday stales 20% occurred while mining DGC.

@flound1129: do you consider stales when calculating coin-profitability?

I can't cash out anything today, it says "Another payment is in progress".

I've been cashing out once or twice a day because of the fact how long it takes some of these
coins to move to the exchange.

When I see "Another payment is in progress" does that mean the hot wallet is empty?

Because I've been able to cash out 3 or 4 different coin balances in one day.  Surely there's no restriction
that says only one coin can be cashed out at a time?

Just a quick question, is there a block solver's reward on multipool? I've mined there for a few months but haven't bothered to ask before.

In this pool, do we need to have wallets for every coins or the pool operator will exchange the coins to BTC and pay out in BTC so that we only need BTC wallet?

We don't auto exchange BTC (yet), but you don't need to have a wallet for every coin, you can use online wallets (i.e. your addresses at exchanges).

No, if the hot wallet is empty it will just return nothing.  Another payment is in progress means that it's calculating rewards, or doing auto payments, or someone is literally trying to cash out.

When we're on WDC, we find so many blocks that it makes the scoring/payments script run long, and since it runs every 5 minutes it can sometimes be hard to cash out.  But keep trying or set an auto threshold.

I have 1.1 Novacoins, if I set auto threshhold to 1, will it just cashout 1 novacoin?

No, it will cash out your full balance as soon as you have more than 1.

Instead of sending coins to yourself and then to an exchange.. Just put your Exchange address in at Multipool and have coins sent there automatically. Then you can exchange them for BTC or whatever you want to do.

A block solver's reward is generally something new pools do as a promotion to get people to use their pool.  It's not really something I'd consider at this point as a) we already have a substantial user base and b) this is a free pool and other than donations (which go mostly to pay for the servers) I have no funds to pay block solver's rewards, which would mean they would have to come out of everyone else's mining profits.

Unlikely you would appreciate the downside of getting paid less per share when the "solver" gets a larger share of payout. There are many high hasher's that would gain an advantage that way. This way, everyone gets shares accordingly. Still, I understand the thinking.

@flound1129: do you consider stales when calculating coin-profitability?

Yes, both stales and orphans (over last 100 blocks) are taken into consideration.  Stales are less weighted than they used to be, since there are a lot more stales in the first few minutes after the pool switches, causing profitability to take a dive and needless 'flapping' between coins.  So now, stale rate is weighted at 1/3 of what it was before, and some coins also have a static handicap.
