Bitconnect may be dead, but if you're looking for more entertainment then you can read my recent writeup on Ethconnect. But Ethconnect did rake in quite a lot of money for being so stupid, and producing nothing at all. Gleb, I saw your message. Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Some days ago a new "project" was launched and it seems to be Bitconnect 2. The name is Bitconnext - obviously it claims to be the next Bitconnect. Yes, really! I don't know if the scammers are imposters or only want to run a big joke, but have a look at it, I've written a scam warning about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4413982.0Normally the original founders must have enough money from their first scam and never do anything so it's very likely there are some new scammers jumping on this train. It can only be a joke or otherwise that person must be completely brain dead to launch a project that will be closely associated with the biggest scam ever based on its name alone. |
