I am doing research on this most scammy of all scams and am wondering, was it possible to *really* mine Bitconnect at the time? Or was it also a fake blockchain? Anyone with good knowledge of the issue please direct me to some good sources or explain what you know here. Thank you!

I don't think promoting scam is a ban reason. You are free not to trust him though, since he already has a red trust he literally screams "don't trust meee!! or i am going to scam youu!!!" If he is spamming the same shit over and over again however, this may lead to a ban.

Scammers are not banned here until they become so shameless and start spamming forum. It is better if you just report the spam posts to moderators and they will do the right action in the case.

Man, I am really lazy about all my BCC. It isn't on CoinMarketcap any more even though it's still trading on the Bitconnect site as far as I know. Also, what's that exchange beginning with P someone posted? Is it new and why does it list BCC too?
I still have about 900BCC but have been too lazy to stake them to gain more. At current prices I can barely get 2ETH for them but it's better than nothing (until ETH falls to nothing).
I made the right decision to sell all my BTC earlier in the year when it was over $10k. The SEC is now going after services like EtherDelta and issuing big fines and it may only be a matter of time before Gleb gets in trouble for his ICO shenanigans.

Have you not heard the news? You're talking about a coin that was proven to be a scam almost an entire year ago, seemingly begging for more red trust. Why on earth would you think for one second the true value of BCC is greater than zero?

I lost about 90% on the coins, which I bought after it crashed. UPDATE: Actually the coin is showing 31cents now so it's up quite a bit again (possibly 40% more).....I'm going to try to sell mine on the bitconnect site...will let you know how it goes.

UPDATE: Actually the coin is showing 31cents now so it's up quite a bit again (possibly 40% more).....I'm going to try to sell mine on the bitconnect site...will let you know how it goes. WOW!! I got the nodes list from a bcc block explorer so that my wallet would connect and almost immediately I mined over 100 BCC TOKENS!! Probably because I hadn't had the wallet connected for such a long time. Worth a try for anyone wanting some extra coins.... Now I'm trying to work out if the BCC addresses on the bitconnect site that I used before still work for sending BCC (they don't let you see the address and say the service is disabled but other people on this thread said the old BCC addresses still work)... Created a bitconnect.conf file in the ….AppData/Roaming/bitconnect folder so that the wallet would connect...it connected and updated very quickly with this: addnode=1.55.195.54 addnode=101.51.245.242 addnode=103.199.76.8 addnode=103.199.8.25 addnode=103.217.167.68 addnode=104.12.65.113 addnode=104.128.69.32 addnode=104.194.218.208 addnode=104.238.172.254 addnode=104.248.245.204 addnode=105.66.135.195 addnode=108.28.147.159 addnode=108.90.245.67 addnode=109.126.143.44 addnode=113.161.150.123 addnode=113.161.61.112 addnode=113.161.8.210 addnode=115.64.252.140 addnode=115.77.119.14 addnode=115.79.49.161 addnode=115.79.58.119 addnode=116.100.140.209 addnode=116.108.72.223 addnode=121.54.32.138 addnode=122.107.87.215 addnode=123.243.139.247 addnode=126.74.133.158 addnode=129.192.75.4 addnode=151.226.106.232 addnode=151.230.181.39 addnode=161.10.164.118 addnode=162.226.148.25 addnode=171.232.147.239 addnode=171.232.82.92 addnode=171.250.121.23 addnode=172.114.238.129 addnode=172.220.72.186 addnode=172.58.87.105 addnode=173.212.205.176 addnode=173.249.18.147 addnode=174.0.137.245 addnode=174.230.11.239 addnode=174.97.14.138 addnode=175.195.140.137 addnode=177.215.80.249 addnode=178.40.162.166 addnode=18.218.15.177 addnode=18.218.16.103 addnode=18.218.41.93 addnode=183.83.172.244 addnode=185.231.68.200 addnode=185.85.187.76 addnode=187.150.128.20 addnode=187.57.164.27 addnode=190.213.222.107 addnode=193.194.112.217 addnode=194.78.133.203 addnode=198.101.101.54 addnode=198.251.97.20 addnode=200.8.214.85 addnode=208.138.22.29 addnode=212.42.200.125 addnode=216.151.184.54 addnode=216.151.184.56 addnode=217.123.230.65 addnode=217.129.103.21 addnode=217.155.202.191 addnode=24.192.31.133 addnode=24.42.242.4 addnode=24.7.148.40 addnode=27.78.183.103 addnode=34.205.229.27 addnode=42.117.110.173 addnode=45.51.162.19 addnode=45.76.110.168 addnode=46.101.53.119 addnode=47.187.7.110 addnode=5.128.203.90 addnode=54.93.51.175 addnode=62.195.194.34 addnode=64.20.63.92 addnode=64.57.239.202 addnode=67.185.111.100 addnode=67.245.230.216 addnode=68.175.46.58 addnode=68.207.236.64 addnode=68.99.251.74 addnode=69.125.153.85 addnode=69.14.242.75 addnode=69.156.144.241 addnode=71.167.16.8 addnode=71.239.166.96 addnode=72.182.210.175 addnode=72.183.221.82 addnode=72.188.233.57 addnode=72.199.205.136 addnode=72.220.150.229 addnode=73.110.67.36 addnode=73.171.65.168 addnode=73.196.170.159 addnode=73.205.155.184 addnode=73.245.200.251 addnode=73.252.174.214 addnode=73.77.85.154 addnode=74.12.210.85 addnode=75.128.15.237 addnode=75.84.177.104 addnode=76.173.96.84 addnode=76.20.227.78 addnode=78.156.111.40 addnode=78.20.207.167 addnode=80.235.46.174 addnode=80.250.28.107 addnode=81.183.221.11 addnode=81.38.172.18 addnode=81.82.230.119 addnode=82.8.134.87 addnode=83.84.83.139 addnode=84.210.156.144 addnode=84.255.249.179 addnode=85.191.100.74 addnode=85.26.165.85 addnode=85.26.234.39 addnode=86.127.136.59 addnode=86.16.184.149 addnode=88.201.229.149 addnode=88.99.235.240 addnode=89.177.5.72 addnode=89.37.114.195 addnode=90.157.143.30 addnode=91.40.18.153 addnode=92.53.66.233 addnode=92.99.212.134 addnode=94.225.204.7 addnode=95.213.251.76 addnode=95.237.244.166 addnode=96.225.156.89 addnode=98.174.214.34 addnode=98.197.163.33 addnode=98.213.182.135 addnode=99.155.153.168

The wallet went offline again for some reason....it updated quickly at first though.... I wonder why there are no connections again? Actually there is 1 connection again now as I type this.....
seems like it's synching again ...not sure if it actually was synched before....maybe the 100+ mined BCC won't be accepted either.

You must realize that any coins you sell are either to those willing to further a collapsed Ponzi scheme or to investors who do not know that Bitconnect is a Ponzi. Therefore you are only aiding and abetting a scam by providing information on how to partake in it and capitalize on it.

Wait what!? Let me get you up to speed, bud. I'm in tight with the Shenanigans and Exchange Commission (SEC). Ergo, no trouble whatsoever.

Phew buddy... this is the wrongest thing I've read so far today... Why on the earth would the price go up? Because there's less? If you remove 20% of the garbage from a pile of garbage, you still have a whole heap of garbage. It doesn't suddenly transform into gold. The crypto market may or not be less of a ponzi than BCC….it could be a good time to buy 'cheap' BTC and ETH Outside of the handful of other proven Ponzis, the crypto market is definitely less of a Ponzi than the most widely known crypto Ponzi scheme ever (BCC).

Well I suppose the market went down 80% in the last year for other reasons - why aren't more people saying cryptos are zero sum games too? Many people have said cryptos are ponzis…. there is nothing backing the price in almost all cases and even if a company that issues the token becomes successful there is no actual reason for the token to gain in value if they don't share any profits (at least with stocks there is a possibility of a takeover and a real reason for the price to go up since they actually do represent ownership of the company and carry over to the new buyers unlike cryptos that do not represent anything, really). So best to treat it all as some weird game. The funny thing with BCC was that the price did go up (for the same reason any other crypto will go up if nothing backs the price) and went up higher than the amount of interest they paid, so their lending section was profitable and less of a ponzi than other cryptos. That was definitely the case for their lending and they definitely were profitable while they were running but I can't be bothered explaining again.
