It's weird how if you live in a country that is bitcoin friendly already you have this notion that most if not all other countries are that way too. Undecided

It's amazing that a lot of countries are really into Bitcoin like US, UK, Canada, etc. It's also saddening that countries do not take it as an advantage to improve the economy and the lives of the people. I don't really understand why? Are they scared of what can happen? Or do they not see what the possibilities are with Bitcoin? They could improve the economy with Bitcoin.

From my country, the Philippines, it's starting to grow. The Bitcoin community here is growing and getting stronger. I just hope that majority that happens with the transactions here are legal.

I think the reason why this government is not taking advantage of bitcoin to improve their economy because it is against their centralized ideology.  Government want to have control on everything and they will be having a problem to control bitcoin.

Well I think bitcoin in the Philippines is still in its infancy stage.  There are only few sites that accept bitcoin.  If it is booming in the Philippines maybe because of some MLM company that taken advantage of bitcoin popularity / trend  to bait their members.

I see no. It's just that bitcoin is not in their priority list but of course it's already on hand by the PH BSP.

Much better if we remove those "think" since it might mislead the others. The post is general.

Few sites since it's not direct payment bur rather with the use of third party. Local exchangers in the PH have many services offered so that people can use their bitcoin in various ways. That is one of the reason why people at least got an idea about bitcoin. Also some local exchangers doesn't focusing much on bitcoin services that's why people has another reason to use that exchanger resulting for bitcoin introduction then eventually an adaption.

You know the stats of those PH people joined MLM companies? If yes then you should realized that it isn't the one why bitcoin is blooming in the PH.

After reading this question Immediately 3 Names appeared on my Mind.

1: China
2: Brazil
3: USA

China have the largest bitcoin mining and miner's equipments..
Brazil have the most shops, hotels and restaurant accepting bitcoin.
and USA is also a large amount of bitcoin accepted country.
i agree with you that USA is the largest amount of bitcoin accepting because everyone know about bitcoin and bitcoin is very popular in USA and they sure that bitcoin will be future currency.

China might be bitcoin-friendly now, but policies can change very quickly. At the last bubble, the Chinese government cut off bank transfers to bitcoin exchanges, while trying to rein in the price. Countries like USA have more consistent policies.

These 3 countries are big countries, it should give rise to bitcoin in the future. More countries will adopt as people are adopting with bitcoin and by seeing this especially in the eyes of the businesses, there's a great market in bitcoin and if they will integrate bitcoin as a payment system they will surely be more profitable.

I won't say China overall is a bitcoin-friendly country. Its people might utilize it and might be the largest miners in the industry but that doesn't mean that they are in themselves bitcoin-friendly to start with. Remember when the Chinese government banned bitcoin for a while? That could happen anytime again.

Singapore is one of the most Bitcoin-friendly countries. Switzerland is another one. The government tolerates the use of Bitcoins. On the other hand, a guy was detained in France after a policeman heard him uttering the word "Bitcoin".
Singapore is a small country and city, and it has risen through the ranks to become a top modern asian city, also it has been Southeast Asia's most modern city that's why bitcoin is very welcome out there. Here is one of the video about bitcoin activity out there:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lqyuit570A80 However, The Bank central of singapore has proposed a new regulatory that would require applicable companies to obtain a license from the MAS or Monetary Authority of Singapore.

I can't exactly say that the Philippines is bitcoin-friendly but if we base the transaction volume coming from there, which I think ranks in the top 5, you can say that the Philippines is ahead of most other countries. We know that the Filipinos are very fond of social media and are very much almost always online, so the digital currency is something that they are already using.

Yes Philippines has the most number of bitcoin users but they have less owned bitcoin and less miners. China on the other hand has also many users, with big-time miners and huge bitcoin stocks so possibly China will be the number one in the list. But regardless of ranking Philippines will surpass other countries with regard to bitcoin users, even children in the Philippines are doing bitcoin and are earning thousands. They can also automatically convert bitcoin to peso and vice versa

Good news come from African countries, several of them will consider bitcoin regulation like Uganda. In the middle east Dubai government will regulate bitcoin. Bitcoin spreads all over the world.

Yes and there is country on africa will adopt digital currency as we know Senegal is the first country to release a crypto-currency on the basis of the national currency.

Earlier this month, Senegal ECFA, a digital currency is currently being developed in collaboration with the Regional Bank of Marches (BRM) and eCurrency Mint Limited. BRM sofa, a Senegal-based financial institution specializing in capital markets and the implementation of tailor-made banking solutions, which leads to the development and integration of digital money, which Senegalese government Legal tender.

As with the vision of the biggest bank in Norway DNB, Senegal is attempting a share of Africa's seriously underserved and under-served populations, who have difficulty accessing platforms and reliable and profitable financial networks to settle transactions Cross-border market in the secure market.

Interestingly, the development and launch of ECFA under the auspices of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), which suggests that once ready for the ECFA commercial deployment will be made available to others African countries, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Togo and much more.
Criticism and Future Plans

At the first announcement of plans to develop the ECFA, BRM Bank and the Senegalese government was criticized by experts in cryptography and analysts because of ECFA's dependence on a central banking system. It was said that if the ECFA is based on the national currency but defeated the purpose of implementing a digital currency.

Despite these criticisms, CEO of Bank BRM Alioune Camara, said earlier this month that this will help the Senegalese government to create a system that interoperates between all financial applications, platforms and networks Within an ECFA region supporting our banking system and facilitating the central bank is the safest and safest way to enable the digital economy. We can now facilitate full interoperability between all electronic money payment systems. This is a major leap forward for Africa.

I am happy because my country is bitcoin friendly and our government carrying out research on blockchain technology and may be government would adopt such system in banking system also because it's highly secure.
Of course that is good step, hopefully my country and government has also approved the use of bitcoin. I hope there is no longer a ban of the use bitcoin.

Governments and other institutions researching the possibilities of the blockchain as technology isn't really something that has to do with Bitcoin since they are looking to create private blockchains. That being said, we may however experience the benefits of this technology in the way that we can now transact instantly worldwide with zero fees involved. But I personally think they will use it to lower their own costs with a significant percentage, and don't actually allow us to enjoy much lower costs for transactions and services. It's all about working efficiently while the customers don't get to experience the benefit of lower fees. Greedy bastards that they are.

Which country has most number of bitcoin users, miners and vendors? And in which country bitcoin is accepted the most? Like in at institutes or super malls or stores etc.
Has such data been calculated and available on the world wide web?
This is only China who has billions number of Bitcoin user because here in this country the cost of electricity spent is very low so it is very easy to mine Bitcoin through hardware Bitcoin miner .
