Would be cool if we IPFS could be used with TPAY in a way that we can deploy our own IPFS nodes and share our own content but only available to the TPAY community. Using the masternode tech with IPFS nodes so basically users looking to deploy a node for media sharing would need a min amount of TPAY. Users looking to watch content would be charged some coins for streaming would would be paid to the user running the node. I believe Novus has a similar concept. Isn't there a way to have a gateway or page that indexes the content...that would avoid the site getting suspended or taken down.

Just spit balling here, might not make sense but I wanted to throw it out there.

I don't think that the IPFS nodes can be private like that. Once a person has the movie hash its pretty much avail to anyone on the ipfs network. (through any gateway). But I havent done much research into this so i will have a look to see if it is possible without a 300 page writeup for users to follow :p

We will never accept coin for movie content. Once we accept any crypto for copyrighted content we step into a very dark world that could land myself behind bars for a long time. But I will look into the seeing what we can do about private ipfs. A person could be paid for providing a node but not content on that node.

That to me makes the entire project worth it and lets me know I am on the right track.


Now I have to say this, If the thread activity picks up too much I may have to limit my responding to each individual question. Today I have spent around 3 hours with mails, pm's etc etc and that is just way to much time to dedicate to talking. I have no problem at all answering questions but at some point I have to make a cut off or I wont be able to add or code anything :p

Just letting everyone know. Most likely I will still respond to everyone everywhere. But I have to say it at the very least :p lol. That being said. Im not going anywhere. Updates in thread still daily & will respond as much as possible. But 300 some messages to respond to is well, beyond ridiculous :p

Ok this is not saying that the name of the coin has been chosen because it hasn't. There is still a lot of voting time. But I did like the name Allion and figured we could use the shit out of it regardless if it ends up being chosen as the coin name or not.
