David as a Lead Developer will release an official version of HUSH for Windows featuring an automated installer... soon after testing. For users who wish to have an early glimpse of the HUSH Desktop GUI wallet for Windows:
https://github.com/vaklinov/hush-swing-wallet-ui

I have prepared a technical preview release 0.68.3-beta:
https://github.com/vaklinov/hush-swing-wallet-ui/releases/tag/0.68.3-beta
It does not feature an automated installer so there are some manual steps to make it work.

Note: This technical preview release has not been extensively tested! If you are concerned about stability and/or have a significant amount of HUSH in the wallet, it is better to wait for the official release! If you just wish to try it out and/or help with the testing process - you may use this release.

Any issues found may be reported by users on the GitHub issues page:

I'm brand new to mining and am wondering if Hush is a good coin to start with? All of the recent updates look great.

I'm using a R7950 GPU and Claymore Miner on Windows 7 and Aika Pool. Currently getting ~280 H/S.

Hey guys. which pool is the bigget for mining hush?

Suprnova is reliable and has a HUSH pool: https://hush.suprnova.cc/

Otherwise if you want a good pool with no fees and no registratration, http://zdash.miningspeed.com/ works well and dev is reactive in the chat there.

We would need wider adoption and support first.  A second exchange would signal that there is enough public interest in this coin.

Hey everyone, David posted the initial roadmap last night. Source

Quote
Hello, this is David Mercer, new Lead Developer of the HUSH (formerly zdash) cryptocurrency project at https://myhush.org. As I've been onboard in this new role for just around a week, this initial roapmap for HUSH won't have any firm dates in it. Once I've settled in and gotten a better feel for the current team in the HUSH community, and the timeframe for some external dependencies in upstream software are firmed up, subsequent roadmap updates will have projected dates for things.

The list below starts with short term items and then in the medium term gets into my vision for HUSH, which is to steer it towards being a secure messaging oriented fork of Zcash. The memo field in private transactions allows up to 512 bytes of any type of data to be sent. The command line proof of concept for using this as a messaging client is zmsg, who's source code is at https://github.com/whyrusleeping/zmsg. Integrating messaging into the GUI wallet with features not found in the rest of the Zcash ecosystem is the first main feature enhancement I have planned. And now, onto the list:

• Complete rebranding as HUSH

While merging changes from the latest upstream version of Zcash, 1.0.9, that just got released,
we're going to remove all references to zdash in the current software, both the linux and
    Windows releases.

• Windows installer
The pieces for this are nearly all in place:
    • Command line Windows port is done
    • Stand-alone GUI wallet is complete
    • Proving key download to be added to GUI
    • Bundle all the above into installer, as I've previously done for https://zcash4win.com

• Get listed on additional exchanges
The above is what I believe is missing to get listed on https://bittrex.com, since we now have a
    good block explorer at http://explorer.myhush.org

• Add messaging to current GUI wallet

    • Sender authentication
    • Pet name system (google Zooko's Triangle for more info on that)
    • i2p and/or TOR integration

• Add ipfs integration for large messages and sending binary files

•New lightweight client

This is dependent on upstream Zcash deploying a stable interface for proof offloading to create
    and sign private transactions.

    • Initial version for Android
    • will support full localization for different languages

• XCAT with Zcash
This is Cross Chain Atomic Swaps, and is coming down the pike into Zcash. Once in place users
will be able to fund HUSH wallets without using an exchange if they have any other
cryptocurrency that supports XCAT (work is underway on BTC and ETH, with code in various
    states of completeness).

I think that the above will keep us all nice and busy for the remainder of 2017!

Cheers,

David Mercer

When do you think we can see the new roadmap?
You'll have to ask David that, I think we will just put the current one into graphics since it includes enough work for 2017 Smiley
I'm not completely sure though, I'll ask David and update you if I'm incorrect.

We would need wider adoption and support first.  A second exchange would signal that there is enough public interest in this coin.

This I know, and why I previously asked on David’s roadmap. Pro-active development secures interest. Currently I only want the HUSH which I have in my addresses more secured. IMHO, I’m not too happy with the Windows compatible wallets… I recently moved my Komodo to Agama and I have only had troubled with it since. Otherwise I am happy with Jaxx and Blockchain (BTC), looking at acquiring a hardware wallet now.

As HUSH goes, it is moving toward being uniquely positioned going by the roadmap, so by prospectus it may or may not be a viable alternative to Zcash, and having a low cap it may achieve a strong value. The potential is there, and its implementation.
