We are going to see a big surge in price and it will happen in a course of days, remember that last time we went from 600 to 1000 it took less than 15 days, so once it starts pumping and we get in the 800 territory, panic buy will kick in, 800 and 900 will go out quick and we will be sitting at 1000+, some people will panic sell at 1000+, it will correct a little, less than people think, then the people that missed the boat will jump in as soon as it goes below 1000, pushing the price to the next ATH.
Keep believing, just like the song ,there can be miracle when you believe.. but unfortunately we cant go 1000$ by the end of year. Wait for another halving im sure it will definitely go that way.

You are saying it took around 15 days last time till it has risen up to $1000 but I guess it is already more than 15 days and still no signs of even $800. It is different this time. Mining is difficult and winter is not the best time, because the electricity is becoming more expensive. My guess is that it is going to stabilise soon.

its over 800 everywhere. India okcoin local bitcoins Canada. There may be differences across individual exchanges. In places like India, there might be higher demand for bitcoins and therefore higher prices. But most websites have an index, which give you a volume-weighted average price of Bitcoin. And that is hovering around $790 now. I don't think we will be below $800 for long.

The price of bitcoin is nearing $800 as it fluctuates around $780 and there is only few days left before Christmas. If this uptrend continues, it will pass the $800 level and will be near at $900 before yearend.

I'm also waiting for $1000 to come because I've been saving a quite amount of bitcoins so it will be really great but I think that its too soon
maybe bitcoin will reach $1000 in the first months of next year unless something happens to increase the buy rate.
The question is not whether you should buy bitcoin, but how much. Here is how you can find how much: Total population of the world: 7 billion Of those, lots are poor, and in not a condition to buy bitcoin. So lets just consider first world population. Population of rich nations or first world: 800 million or so. Market capitalization of bitcoin at $780: $12 billion So, per capita, there are $12 billion / 800 million = $15 worth of bitcoins in the market for each american or rich person of the world. If you don't have $15 worth of bitcoin, then you are missing out on your share of the virtual currency of the world. So buy at least $15 worth of bitcoin if you want to be average. If you want to score big: buy $150. Then you'd have 10x times each rich person in the world. And so on.

This last month of the year 2016 is only a stepping stone for bitcoin to climb even further. If the test reach 800$ then 900$ could be achieve after a week or before 2017. Could be dec 31 new years eve.bitcoin and the fireworks will go up high.

Looking to the bitcoin price in different exchanges i see that in the western one it is around ~$790 ofc the lowest one is in btc-e with $775 but in the Chinese exchanges it is $799,x almost $800 Breaking this barrier will have a positive impact and will open the road to the $1k again but this time is gonna be a solid price

today we know that the price of bitcoin is likely to reach $ 1,000 in 2017, and we do not know when it will actually happen. so, I guess, the theory of 1000+ is anytime now to 2016 have been lost. Well, maybe $ 1,000, will happen anytime in 2017.

I agree that 1000/btc is right around the corner. Also agree that when the 800 mark is reached it may open up and swing through 900 in no time.
A lot of news coming out recently is pro bitcoin and I speculate that a Trump presidency will also be good for BTC.
Its around the corner but I also do not think that we will reach it anymore this year, there is not much time too accomplish this and due to that it will simply not happen.

It's anytime but not in the near future due to different condition nowadays and last time bitcoin pumped to $1000 in just several days. The price of bitcoin need more time to set up the current price with demand of more adopters and buyers, the result is, we need more time to reach that price, I thought about 4-6 months later.

A week ago I would say that 1000+$ sounds like a fairy tale for bitcoin optimists. But today I see that it is close to be truth. Bitcoin grown to 800$ for couple of weeks, so with such temps in a month we will see so expected price of 1000$ per 1 btc

Interesting view! I would go for a whole bitcoin which today is still affordable for most in first world countries. Just to be on the safe side + monkey brain likes round numbers.
