There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

21 Million. Same as Bitcoin. I've seen various places say it's 81 million. Do you have a source? Or.. Can you point me to the line in the source code that specifies this, that would pretty much settle the matter

One thing I'd like to see... If ByteCoin is ... 100% identical to BitCoin ... Why isnt it mining and processing BTC/BitCoins .. Where is the source difference that specifies ... to be a new blockchain ?
