The same interesting issue of Barron's (the well-known financial newspaper that comes out on Saturdays in the USA) that I read today had two different comments both stating that buying bank stocks was very risky as they are OPAQUE in their accounting and operations.  That's bad.

So, it might be dangerous to trust your money in bank accounts, but perhaps even worse to buy those banking stocks!

One of my favorite games is Wall Street Raider and in that game you can do all kinds of things on the different markets, is a game I recommend to anyone interested in the economy and in that game you can do the all of that, when cooking books is in a wall street game then you know this is kind of a common thing that happens.

Then I think your statement might differ from what you have said now. Banks and bitcoin can co-exist. It depends on where you live, in a modern society like the ones you find in the first world is very difficult to try too get by without a bank account but in the world where cash is more prevalent, it is a lot easier to get by without a bank account.

Not trusting bank is tantamount to saying you are not using fiat, you will know that later. Don't put your everything with bitcoin, put some doubts as you might regret it later if something bad happen with our investment or in bitcoin.

Exactly, bitcoin is till young and it cannot run the show at its own. I mean bitcoin cannot be independent as most of us need  fiat to spend on our needs and wants, bitcoin does not guarantee a good future that we can spend bitcoin in public places selling our needs, it can't be possible unless massive adoption arises.

I think there are some banks that was never a scam most of them collapse or owner brings customers money and go. but if you use a bank have the government, I think it would be quite safe. because the government will surely be responsible

What is the difference about scamming and running off with customers money? it's the same. and you are right, only use bank that's owned by the government and honestly i'm also only using that kind of bank to make sure my money was safe. the bank can't running off with your money but if you are doing illegal things and bank caught you, your account probably will be frozen

just let the banks run as usual without have to hate or to not trust on them.
the reason why you can trust in bitcoin is just because you are the only one who hold the money noth the third party such as the banks.
but if you make a survey and asking a common people about bitcoin , they will call bitcoin are not trusted at all even the biggest scam project ever.

It's impossible to just close your bank account without giving any reason no lawyers will just represent the bank if they violated your contract with them they could get money into it if they see some bank doing illegal things to their customers. I think you just making story into this , no people will stop pursuing money if its so big that you can buy mercedes with that money inside you account.

Trust in banks only goes up to a certain extent. Mainly because of the fact that people have not forgotten about what has happened in Cyprus years ago. It's an extreme example, but it's something I don't completely rule out to happen in other countries as well at some point in the future. It's not only the banks that you have to worry about, but also the governments. In that regard, you have to focus on more than just one aspect of the system that we are sucked into. We're stuck. Bitcoin gives us a decent amount of financial freedom as it allows to store a part of our wealth into it. Even if something happens like has happened in Cyprus, then there is nothing that the government can take away from your money in Bitcoin. That's the best thing.

Should I never trust banks? I don't think so. As I notice here in our country, banks are very useful. They have their clients and customers continue using their service everyday. I have no reason to not trust banks. I know they are legit to operate.
