Will BitDice credit investors with Bitcoin Gold after the airdrop later this month?!
Why should they? If you invested the money in the ICO you agreed to use your bitcoin to buy the BitDice tokens, that money is no longer yours, if you wanted to receive bitcoin gold or any other free coins coming from a hard fork then you should have held your bitcoin and then use your bitcoin to buy tokens on the open market from other investors.

Honestly, the Bitcoin Gold fork will be a joke. I am pretty sure it won't even get launched even or it might get launched way way too late.

I might even get launched after Segwit2X fork, which I also don't think will happen either.

Problem with Bitcoin Gold is that there is 1 developer and he is working very slow and his progress so far is very slow.

So I am pretty sure alex won't worry about Bitcoin Gold fork for now.

Of course no service is obligated to give out the fork coins - we all understand that if you want the fork and the coins that come with it, it's down to you to hold your BTC and work it out yourself.

However, I think it's a valid question to ask, and there's absolutely no harm to do so since this is an open and transparent forum for such discussions. The Aug hardfork already shows that many sites are willing to do this, and power to them. But I wouldn't worry. BitDice has thus far operated on honest and fair grounds. Yes, we can all see that there are issues due to the ICO workload. Have a bit of faith and patience, you'll see that it all works out well.

yeah  a fork that doesn't have a legit wallet  Grin
and it is "happening" in less than ten days
unfortunately for many, because another portion of "free" coins for nothing would have been tempting
oh and Segwit2x fork should happen allright, unless more of the big players
pull out their support or some unpredictable stuff happens

A clarification from alex would be nice, i want to know(and many others probably) his plan for upcoming fork.
When you invested your bitcoin you are already putting your money to the site and the site has the control of your money so I don't think it's entitled for a credit of the bitcoingold free money. Unless you are on an exchanges which you deposit your money and they made an announcement that they will support Bitcoingold.

That's why people are requesting is the site plan if they say they won't support it then the user should provide a sufficient time to withdraw their funds to get free bitcoin gold coins. If not then the site should provide an option to withdraw bitcoin gold coins later on. Still got time to withdraw funds to get free bitcoin gold if the site doesn't support this fork.

I know its important to launch ICO as it will attract alot of investors but site is important too in itself. Either you need time management to split hours to give time to ICO as well as site's support or you need to expand your support.

The Bitcoin Gold will never work. I've read on their thread that they are going to launch it with a premine.

They are claiming its required because they need to mine for a bit for the difficulty to stablise. But even if that was true, they could just burn the coins.

Regarding getting any airdrops/bitcoin forks, its usually as a bonus to the service. However normally if you buy something, after you buy it you aren't entitled to any dividends after the sale is made. Most likely nobody will get their bitcoin gold fork coins this way.

What the fuck does that even mean ? Why are you'll so greedy ? I could feel the desperateness even in your broken English.

I agree, being busy isn't one of the reasons customers like to accept when they're potential players on your site. But hey, isn't it understandable the ICO phases generally involves the work around the team ? I mean the process is something that needs  extra attention.

Bitdice have collected really high sum during ICO and we can understand that managing those millions of $ will be pain in the ass which is what bitdice owner is facing right now. I also agree with you that bitdice team should be expanded and probably separated in two groups one going through all the support tickets in casino and another group handling all issues of ICO.

Am I the only one wondering that post the ico people just come here to post on one thing, bitdicce is being busy get a life, they are trying to be better for us, rewarding people, they are trying their best, all they need is just time, give them time, full time being on their back. It's my big request keep calm, and keep faith in them, and stay excited for the new things to come.

Nope, managing a large sum is actually very easy, because you have no pressure of running out of funds and you really get to do what you planned for.  It also gives you a little more breathing room to get creative and do stuff and small improvements you haven't thought of before.

Unlike having just the right amount of money.  That's hard.  It's like trying to make ends meet just to keep everything running.

Its actually a double edged sword. Both situations can be trouble-some.

You are correct that having "just the right amount" of money might make it easier because every different aspect is carefully financed and by the book. However there might be issues and more funds might be needed.

If you manage a large sum of money, you will have many investors that are breathing down your neck constantly. If you keep missing deadlines, you will get angry emails, and you will be forced to rush and create mistakes.

Hey guys,

Delay with the bentcrypto was because user lost access to the email on which he sent the withdrawal confirmation letter. So we waited few days just to exclude any security issues. Then we confirmed the WD for the user which was sent to the ICO, so we had to refund it later. Not the regular support request we get. However, because we get 50-70 emails daily since ICO it's hard to reply in a timely manner. That's our issue, we will do our best to minimize the answer time.

Regarding that BitGold or whatever it is. I simply have no time for it. So if users want to get that "shitcoin" they can withdraw and re-deposit later. We were able to pay everyone BCC with very nice profit (which doesn't change my stance on that scam coin as well), but with this scam - we pass.

Regards,
Alex

I know its important to launch ICO as it will attract alot of investors but site is important too in itself. Either you need time management to split hours to give time to ICO as well as site's support or you need to expand your support.
I am sure that Alex is doing exactly just that and i don't know whether he is the one managing the ICO and the website personally but if that's the case then maybe he needs some extra help in managing both then i believe that he would have done so by now but currently he is doing an excellent job and a little bit of delays doesn't mean he does not care.

Regards,
Alex
It does not get any clearer than that, if you want to get your bitcoin gold you will need to withdraw your coins from the BitDice website, and wait for the fork to happen and then after you get your coins you can deposit your money once again, this should clear any confusion from members of the forum that were asking about this in the previous days.

Thanks, Alex.

I think exactly same was said also fro BCC. Smiley

But I really dont understand what people have problems. Just withdraw your BTC to your wallet. People do that massively from exchanges and that is reason what alts stay so low

I think if someone has their BTC in a service like a Casino then there is absolutely no excuse not to withdraw for a day and keep in your private wallet.

Now if someone is like 65 years old and barely knows how to use a computer and can only keep their BTC on coinbase, then yes I understand they might have issues withdrawing their BTC and then sending it back to the exchange.

With BitcoinGold, I think only exchanges should be liable for any bitcoin forks. However there should be a marketcap min. BitcoinGold with that huge premine might be dead on arrival.

Thanks for the explanation, Alex. I'm sure a lot of people should appreciate the fact that almost every support request happens because of something unusual and outside the norm of normal transactions. This was certainly a very unique and difficult request. Everyone should understand not just the context of support but the context of an operation that has always placed its customers first.

Good call on Bitcoin Gold. Coins are people's responsibility. Not yours or any other service. Users should take appropriate measures to educate themselves and do what they feel is necessary.

Thanks Alex for the clarification about bitcoingold, actually this one is not worth investing so I guess putting your money in alts is better than this one. But guys now that everything is back to normal and altcoins are healthy again, you can deposit your investment and resume your business as usual.
