this is a wonderful gambling i ever seen because they have treasure i love it.

I like the site most because of graphic and colors.

Not only because of graphic and colors but also it is a long running gambling platform.

I think it's good to sometimes have use see these kinds of posts every once in a while. The longer we stay in gambling, and in crypto, the more used we have become to a lot of sites looking the same, and we tend to prioritize things like speed, provably fairness, even fees and competitions. But it's easy to forget that when we were new, one of the things that attracted us to games are... how they looked! And I'm happy to say BitDice hasn't forgotten about that. What people see and perceive as beauty can mean a lot to the newcomers, sometimes the only thing that makes them decide to stay.

Yeah, I admit it too that bitdice have really good eye catching site but still when it comes to design, everyone has different perspective. And mostly when they found out that they are losing on particular site some of them do not even thinking about coming back again eventhough it has good design and how they even looked. Because some of them are trying to earn on gambling, only less people are having fun with it

Yes Bitdice loves their design very much, some of the old sites don't have that flashy colours or calming effect that bitdice has. The best part is that they keep on improving and bring constant updates to the sites. I'm sure they'll do something special for 2018 and hopefully they'll win the 2018 gambling award let's make this happen.

Which award you are talking about? Is it the one where members can vote on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1417922.0 ?
I do not know why you hope bitdice to win on such vote with so low number of voters and it is easily to be faked. Someone with many accounts may vote for a site and make his favorite site win easily. So if you want to see bitdice win on that vote then prepare many accounts from now Smiley

Seriously? We cant tell it was fake or something, but when you try to look at betdice they are still standing for a long time, which means they are doing a good job in keeping their cleints happy with their time.

I don't think someone will fake a account just to win a vote. I'm sure Alex and his team and any of the signatories of bitdice shall never do such petty things. The fact is bitdice is one of the best and maybe people will make it win next year. Look at other Ann so many complaints but look here, all satisfied users and happy ones only.

Any chance BitDice will be upgrading Bitcoin deposit wallets to SegWit? I know it's a bit too soon to ask for such things, probably painful for the site to migrate, but perhaps better to do it now rather than later (since, it is going to happen sooner or later, right?). If native segwit is still going to be problematic, perhaps we could start with using the "encapsulated" ones that begin with "3"? May not seem like much but with fees currently so high, it'll save the site long term. Every deposit is an input that could be smaller Smiley

Hello everyone!

I am working with BitDice and will be posting updates, events etc.

If anyone has questions about the site, games feel free to ask them here, in pm or in the chat at www.bitdice.me

Hi there! I like your website. Not only colorful, very attractive but very informative as well. I've noticed on your About page that you also offer a FAUCET for FREE. May I know where can I find it? Thank you.

Very surprising they are not using segwit addresses yet.
They are noticiably faster and it does make a difference I would say in deposits that I have made using them on the casino I have been using them with.
Just my feedback on this implementation is all. Grin

Well, faucet on bitdice is empty/removed. people have to deposit to play now. Tongue

Segwit wallet support is coming to bitcoin core soon, i think it'll be easier to upgrade/update.

Yes for sure will be easier latter. But if you upgrade now and you are among first you can get some easy advertisement.

Yeah the difference is noticeable, while other casinos have some scam accusations against them BitDice is going strong and improving, if things keep going this way and if the developments on the road map happen according to schedule I have no doubts that BitDice is going to eat some of its competitors in the next years and those that invested in the BitDice tokens will benefit from such a thing.

Would be better if they are going to upgrade, bitcoin deposits to segwit. But it will be soon since there are many aspects to consider in upgrading.

Treasure chest was not sustainable as it was set up. Basically, a lot of guys were just claiming treasure chest and not depositing, which was not the original intention of having the treasure chest. So it's now being reworked, again.

It is unfair for any service to impose segwit for participants until most wallets incorporate it. but BitDice could offer segwit payment as an option, it could be feasible in my opinion to reduce the high fees cost.

I feel it's to early to expect bitdice to input Segwit as not many have incorporated it. Secondly not everyone has a segwit compatible wallet. There will be a time when they consider it, but so far I don't it's under any consideration. Plus I don't think all know how to generate it, will it be safe, and its benefits. In near future maybe it can come not for now.

I think they can do something to avoid this, maybe by giving a limit for those who are wagering at least xx btc who are able to claim the treasure chest or make it only for those made at least 1 deposit and wager at least xx btc.
Good to hear that it is being reworked, this kind of promo should be only for real players as a bonus or as appreciation for playing at bitdice.

I do not like the idea of needing to make a deposit each period of time because what if you deposit 10 btc once and someone else keeps doing 1 mbtc? Why should the smaller depositor get bonuses and the larger one not?

I think you have a good point bonus should be certain percentage of initial deposit. irrespective of welther you are depositing small or big. it is just a fraction of your deposit however i am of opinion that there should also be minimum and maximum deposit to recieve bonus so if any body deposit above the maximum then bonus will be paid base on the maximum allowed

I think deposit amount should not matter and only the volume should because that is where the site makes its money. Someone can deposit a lot and play a little or deposit some and lose it all, but volume is where the site gets its money because of the house edge. The old setting was a good one but should also include how much volume was added per time period and not just overall I think.

Impose?  If Bitdice started switching to Segwit, all your regular wallets can still make deposits and withdrawals to the site.  That's the beauty of the 'upgrade' as a soft fork because old wallets will still work.  If Alex wants the site to progress and possibly use LN in a year or two, he should make Bitdice start using Segwit.

I agree. not only bitdice but other casinos/sites/services should also start using segwit. fee is also lesser when sending transactions between segwit addresses.

Would be better if they are going to upgrade, bitcoin deposits to segwit. But it will be soon since there are many aspects to consider in upgrading.

It is unfair for any service to impose segwit for participants until most wallets incorporate it. but BitDice could offer segwit payment as an option, it could be feasible in my opinion to reduce the high fees cost.

There are already a bunch of bitcoin gambling sites and exchanges that already use Segwit. Does it make a difference to the mem pool? Barely. I think maybe 5% more transaction are included from the old regular 1MB block size.

Problem is that these Segwit transactions need to be batched. And since many people don't use Segwit, many of them are non-Segwit transactions.

There aren't even that many wallets that are even Segwit capable.

I think with the progress we are getting lately with the LN, I see usability in that. But Segwit at the moment doesnt' make a huge difference.
