This is incredible speed that he has when play it here. But as far as I know your speed must be close to the server to make it faster right? So I do not think it will be the same with everyone. May be it is 78 rolls per 10 seconds for him but it will be 20 rolld per 10 seconds for others. So I think it does not really affect the players. Anyway, he also saying about the higher speed he got the better profit he can get? This is indeed not a true things, he only wrote what people really want to read

Still got the red circle trying to use the site so I guess you guys are right,,, it is definitely my connection it seems. I do not think it is the speed however,,, because I can access other sites quite fine. A minor delay of 2 second maybe from the start but once server connects I can use most sites at equal speed.

I've been checking bitdice everytime and haven't seen that there's a red circle whenever I access the site. There's also a number of online people on a green font so it must be really your internet connection.

Reset your modem and check it back again.

for me the site work  24/7 fine.
only the bet speed is down from 10 bets/sec to 7 bets/sec since the maintenance (new server)   

7 bets/sec must be a good one instead of 2-3 bets/sec. At least it is still faster than mine but as long as it is hit the desire number, it just does not matter much.

^^ On my experience, when I used our office network Bitdice is extremely very quick as opposed to playing home wherein it was also decent as compare to other online dice game I've played. And as I have said, I'm not surprised by the results but I'm sure it will be contested by other online dice sites. So I guess it's really based on user experience here. I think Bitdice upgrade has something to do with the speed or something and that's why they keep on doing it after several months because they wanted to provide good experience for their users/customers.

Yes! I think we really ought to make a sort of separate thread/discussion about this. We have threads about ratings, about lowest edges, most games etc. But we who play dice all know speed is one of the most important (if not), once we all level the playing field in terms of house edge (which is 1% almost everywhere now).

I do use an office network, and it is SLOW on almost every other website but for BitDice it is still playable. But the difference of course is when I am able to get to use an actual unfiltered broadband, which happens rarely when I am at someone's house;) There you can really witness the speed. I don't really know how fast, never measured but you can finish 10k rolls for sure way under 1 hour.

@jossiel it seems that many new members are coming to the site and battling their way to the top, and each week along with old names I’m seeing new names which is a proof of the gambling activity on the site.
