well if you have an offline wallet i don't think that your offline wallet will be infected since it's offline  that's the point. You got that right regarding the keyloger form etc but i tested every malware on the market so far and with a current virtual os your wallet will be safe there unless you infect the virtual os too.

regarding backups of the wallet i'm still keen on have it put somewhere on a new email address just for that since most of flash and also external memories can be lost or even get errors

Exactly. People still seem to have difficulty to grasp the idea behind proper backups.

It's really so easy, especially since we're only dealing with small amounts of data here (a typical wallet is only a few MB).

Encrypt your wallet (either with your Bitcoin client if it supports encryption, or with free solutions like 7-Zip or TrueCrypt) and email it to several accounts on different email providers (e.g. gmail, yahoo, and hotmail) and/or put it in a Dropbox folder. As long as you remember your encryption password, this way your wallet will be absolutely 100% safe.

And keeping your wallet SAFE consists of two different, yet equally important aspects:

• not losing your data (thus losing your bitcoins)
• making sure nobody else can access your data (so they can steal your bitcoins)

yes the procedure offers you a secure environment for storing btc. but i don't know why you complicate with linux and flash drives if a simple wallet with encryption and an offline btc client will do the job.

there are many secure way on how to store your wallet and btc you just need to find the right one for you.

There is no 'bitcoin account' whatsoever. Just install one of the common clients (I personally prefer MultiBit, but most people stick with Bitcoin-Qt which is kinda 'the standard', based on Satoshi's original software) and there you go. You won't have to register anywhere to use bitcoins.

Well, some websites offer online bitcoin wallets, and obviously you'd have to register there to use them, but I wouldn't easily trust large amounts of money with some random site. Especially if it ain't necessary. The less people, companies or websites you have to trust, the better.

If you want to buy bitcoins with €uros or dollar$, register with an exchange. I personally prefer intersango.com, great service, fast, trustworthy, easy, and no need to register all sorts of personal details (in fact all you need is just a random email address).

You can just randomly generate an address, or use the initial one that gets generated by default, and use that to receive bitcoins immediately. As long as you have the private key for it (well, your Bitcoin client takes care of that, storing your private key in your wallet file) you can spend any bitcoins that get paid to that address.

thank you again i got it finally when i have good amount of coins in my wallet will use one of good security method my both question is clear now only now i wanted to know how i make deal like we do in paypal if buyer want to buy anything i usually deal in Dollar and Euro but how i calculate how much bitcoin = $  or Euro  and what is the main difference between them !! any guide or your reply will help me alot thanks once again !

btc has official currency. you can check it on mtgox.com. right now it's around 5.2 but depends on how low you are willing to buy or sell. or how high.

I think as long as people have virtual or perceived value currency or in fact a notion that they can own anything, there will not be a 100% secure way to safeguard those "possesions"

My method for some time now has been to generate a wallet using a hash of a string on bitaddress.org, send bitcoins to the address, and then sit on them until I am ready to spend. Then I import the private key into an ewallet and spend immediately. That way, I am totally offline without counterparty risk until the ~ two minutes my private key is exposed to anybody. Also, are there any ewallets that allow private key import on iOS's safari?

It is a "brainwallet," a.k.a. the private key is generated from a string of letters or numbers I come up with, such as "I love my dog and my cat also" or "il0vemyd0gandmycata150". anything works. I do it by going to bitaddress (I have it saved as am html file on my computer in case something happens to the website), and I click on "wallet details." When it asks for your private key, I just type in some words that I know I can remember. It then asks if I want to generate a private key from the phrase, and I say yes. Then it gives me the public and private key that is generated from the seed.

Ah, all right! Wasn't aware that bitaddress.org is capable of this. I tried it with some test strings, but apparently they were too short cause it just said "this is not a valid private key" (thus I assumed it only took existing private keys). With sufficiently long strings however (at least 12 characters apparently), it does accept them as passphrases. Nice!
