I think internet has given us an enhanced way to live our lives.
Life without virtual goods, social medias, massive knowledge at disposal from search engines would feel little empty
On the other side a life spent only on internet behind a monitor would be empty as well.
I guess it's all about balance

I agree that it's a 50/50. We do spend our time going thru a lot of videos in Youtube, searching for pictures of movie stars or just spending time in 9gag. On the other side though, we use the internet for research. A lot of information is thrown out in the internet and we can't say that all if it are useless. I believe it's all in how you utilize it and I think the phrase wasting time is just a perspective.

I spend a lot of time in the Internet but it is not just for social media and unimportant stuffs. I am a student and Internet is very useful for researching and studying. I have social media accounts but I don't waste my time in that. After all, Internet is very useful for learning new things and understanding.

Approximately 70:30. Work is connected with the Internet and it takes a lot of time to spend at the computer. But I love the movement and communication in real life, so at any opportunity I go out into nature in my spare time.

 Yes, sometimes I do waste my time in internet but not life instead its time. We are living in a modern world so everything we do needs to be connected to the internet. Internet is very useful depends on how you will use it. If you are spending your whole life gaming and watching porn then I can say you are wasting your life on the internet.

The internet is a great way to get information and to learn new things, it is also a good way to get news and keep in touch with people so only those that don’t do anything else but use the Internet can be said to be wasting their lives.
