When do you plan to sell?

I will sell my coins soon because I needed to, I already got money from my saving which I am always preventing but I can't help myself to pay regarding on my business expenses. Hopefully I can sell it on the all time high price this year 2017 like $1200 and above.

but to me i am not going to sell my bitcoin in present price. will sell it after the price raise to 1500 USD level. as i do not need to cash out it, i can manage my expenses from my salary, therefore i do not feel the need to cash it out.

You are 100% right, and we can not control our greedy in a money matter. But I sold some of my coins when the price reached 1220$. I hold some coins to sell when the price cross 1300$ but I missed that chance when the price reached around 1300$. Now it's $980+ don't know what to do. Can I hold my coins or sell my coins. Will wait for some time if again the price goes down I will sell my coins.

Yes that price is very easy to reach because i think the hardfork will have bad results because the 2nd largest mining pool already denied the bitcoin unlimited coin and that is a good sign because it will be a great influence to those smaller mining pools to do the same thing and that will make the bitcoin unlimited fall down and make the original and the real one; bitcoin rise up again up to 1500$ or even higher.

You can't expect that because it depends on the demand and supply the price move based on rumors and news that people will hear.
The secret to do it with the right timing is just to fully educate yourself on what is happening in the bitcoin world so you will be able to make

That's the timing everyone is waiting, we know how bitcoin move, it will pump then dump or vice versa, all we need is just to start saving a good amount of money so we can take advantage when the situation happens. One thing should be clear is that we will never sell for a lose like what weak holders are doing every time they panic when their is a rumors that the price will fall. For you to succeed, you should always decide on what you read and analyze and not in your emotion, remember we are all risk takers here but we calculate the risk.

I think you should be always in the position where you are happy if the price go up because you make more money and happy if the price goes down because you can buy more crypto.

And anyway never go full sell or full buy, I have seen so many traders loosing their mind because they sold all after 50% profit then the price went X20, if they have sold only half they would still have made a X10.

If only it's that simply. What has happened in the past might not repeat at all. The price went to $1200 and then went down but that doesn't mean that at the next time we reach 1200$, the price will go down again. There might be some pattern that has occurred, but what are the chances of that happening once more?

There will be dips in the future but we don't know at what price. The price can increase more and go to $1300, and then the dip will be $1100. When that happens, then you just lost money because you sold your bitcoins at $1000 (today's price). That is why ultimately you shouldn't sell your bitcoins at all unless you're a trader. Selling bitcoins right now makes you lose the opportunity to sell at an even higher price.

I think that now is not the time to sell bitcoins. Against the background that in April, Japan should legalize bitcoin as a payment instrument, the price could rise sharply. Before raising the speculators always play on the price drop to cheaper to buy.

If you are talking about bitcoin my exit point is when the reach 3000$ to 4000$ that 's the I'm gonna sell the 25% of my holdings to get my profit after a years of waiting

Changing perspective along the way is what we called adaption.  People see that Bitcoin is a different thing so they decided to set a higher goal .  It is not greed but rather seeing the potential of Bitcoin and taking advantage of it.

I don't think so that it's the right time to sell now. We saw that bitcoin reached higher amount and it can possible to happen again. If I were you, I will be patient and will keep on waiting, if the price went back already to $1300 then that will be the best time to sell. It's better not to do panic selling but if you are satisfied with current's price, it's up to you.

when the price has risen more than 20% when the initial price that I buy or get, I will sell the coins that I have no doubt, even when the price rises beyond that, I probably would not regret having sold it.
