First main net will be launched then mining will be next. There are still few steps to reach there as tokens swapping to cryptocurrency is one of the earlier steps when mining will be necessary. Though I am not interested in mining and have less knowledge but based on common sense can tell specifications and requirements will be shared on right time.

I want to support the Aeternity as a miner and so I need to know from what hardware I can build my rig in advance to start mining right after mainnet starts. |

What equipment is best for Aeternity mining?
Maybe a ASIC miner based on his github page read me file , also he said that CPU and GPU is not efficient in lean mining that requires a tons of SRAM that CPU and GPU lack on it. |

Hey guys,
The best card to mine Cuckoo Cycle is NVidia 1080 Ti. A decent alternative is 1070 Ti. The new 20xx have not been tested yet.

What equipment is best for Aeternity mining?
Hey, For æternity testnet and mainnet launch, we will use the cuckoo cycle implementation, as provided by John Tromp. This includes per default a miner for CPUs and a miner for Nvidia GPUs will be configurable. We provide instructions on how to configure this in GitHub. So, the best hardware to use for mining AE (on the Testnet for now) is NVidia 1080 Ti or alternatively, the 1070 Ti. Best regards, The AE Team |

Great update for last week where it was shared with community that development on state channel and Bitcoin-NG has entered in important phase. It is true what I read somewhere that while people are attracted by speculative projects team Aerternity is trying to complete the development by hard work. Not many people are aware of this under the radar project referring at late joiners.

Patience is a virtue dev is sharing the all updates and progress with the community consistently they already achieved big success I don't think at this stage it would take so long time to implement these features on Miannet. READ IN THE BLOG We are very aware that you want more clarity on when the Mainnet launch will happen. However, the best estimation that we can give you is still the Pivotal Tracker. The expected date of the Mainnet launch is always an estimation based on our rate of development and encountered challenges. Our focus is on launching with the best product possible, which means we will only release after completing development, testing and undergoing a stringent security audit.
