Hello Mooncoin Family,

The Mooncoin Facebook page is pretty much ready to go, however, before starting advertising/PR campaigns, I would like some volunteer Admins, page moderaters, etc., the page runs more efficiently. Just need a few people to work with when it comes to updates and information! If you're interested please add me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/evan.baker.1297, again the link for the Official Mooncoin Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/mooncoincommunity/ Thanks everyone!

Added to the OP.
Great to see people's initiatives on MOON!

Moonlite is needed to be redesigned, people don't use a test version currently and that means that it's not excellent.
It works great technically, it's free, however the concept seems to be not ideal. People don't understand it and are not motivated to use it.
The Moonlite platform is just one of solutions, being built in the Mooncoin ecosystem, on top of Mooncoin blockchain.
You are welcome to create your own one, there are many opportunities.
We are just at the beginning today and have to find a winning strategy for MOON.
Try, create, experimentalize!

People were asking for the new version of the Moonlite platform,
with GUI and more user-friendly features, people suggested some good ideas how to redesign it.
It is in progress now...

Don't forget to update the Mooncoin wallet before the block 1,100,000.
Links are in the OP.
The new 0.10.5 Mooncoin wallet was made and compiled by barrysty1e.
Thanks to him. You can PM him with your questions.

The wallet is fast and based on the latest Litecoin core and has DigiShield implemented.
If you are a miner, DigiShield will let you mine MOON more effectively.

Please VOTE for MOON at https://mercatox.com!
It's free, you need to register an account first: only login and e-mail are required.
Mercatox offers a good service, it allows to deposit Fiat and then buy coins.
They run an active marketing campaign, advertise their exchange at coinmarketcap.com etc.

Thank you for your support.

What people do you think of new Mooncoin theme variants, provided by nico12321?
They all look not bad, which variant do you consider as the best one?

Dear Mooncoin users, miners and pools!
Some of you are still on an old wallet, compiled by deaconboogie (1.862.1) and on an old wallet, compiled by wb (1.875.1),
meanwhile in several days there will be a block 1,100,000, and people who do not have their wallets updated, will not be able to move coins (e.g. to exchanges).
Exchanges are on a new 0.10.5 wallet already.
For example, here is the snapshot from the Bleutrade exchange: http://archive.is/ULj9R with a notice that '[Moon] Wallet updated successfully'.
Block explorers indicate they are on a new 0.10.5 wallet, this info is available at their websites.
Severals pools updated the wallet.

However, some pools didn't reply.

We have been discussing things in a transparent way in our ANN thread since 2014. Features that were implemented in the new 0.10.5 wallet were approved by the community, people voted for that by posting their opinions. Only one person was neutral, all other people, who posted their opinions, made or approved the new consensus.

The new wallet 0.10.5 is a way better than the old one and compiled by a transparent dev.
Also we have a compilation from an independent expert.
The links are available in the OP.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.msg17349356#msg17349356
Please update your wallet ASAP!

But... The market is broken. Noone is buying the mooncoins they are only selling them. How many do you get for the likes anyway ?
I don't see so many submissions. It would be nice if people supported coins like this more.

The market is not broken, and some people definitely buy MOON, the market gets  about 850 million MOON from mining each month and the price is stable for years, there is another problem: MOON is not listed at big exchanges now.
That gives an opportunity to buy it cheap, when it enters the big exchanges, its price will not be so low, of course.  Listing at big exchanges is not impossible, more difficult is to find a winning strategy for MOON over long term, now it is a point.
A good strategy will motivate people, currently they are really not very active, anyway our community is more active than communities of many top coins, if you have a look at their threads. MOON is owned by common people, not by companies, banks, whales. Even one person with money can make a random coin be in top 10. MOON is not a company, it's a classic time tested coin, backed by common people all over the world.

Pay attention that the most active market for MOON currently is not MOON/BTC,
it is https://bleutrade.com/exchange/MOON/DOGE.

Are any of the Mooncoin mining pool websites similar to Genesis-mining.com? Or are they all manual mining pools that require the equipment?
