I am not holding these coins but I have heard that VeChain is distributing VeChainThor tokens for holding and also ICON give 7% yearly profit, but I do not know how many coins you have to hold in your wallet.

Yeah I agree that HotShot is a bargain right now at the current price. I actually paid a lot more then what its currently trading at but I'm okay with that as the stakes have been coming in daily at a nice consistent rate. And also the dev have released their HotDex which shows that they mean business and want HotShot to succeed. More developments are coming in the near future like a forum where everyone can get together and talk everything crypto and also have some input on which coins they would like to see listed on HotDex plus a lot more. I'm very bullish on HotShot as it should do well in the long term.
x42 does have some presence on Twitter as I have seen a couple big accounts tweeting about it but I do agree that it needs more marketing and people need to know more on what x42 offers the crypto world. All PoS coins are at bargain prices right now so take your pick, just make sure to look for coins that have a solid foundation and active dev team/community as they are the ones that should do well in the long term.
Yes. Every PoS coin is at a discount these days, giving us the huge opportunity to profit massively in the next bull market. HotDEX is very promising and could become a fierce rival of other popular DEXs such as CryptoBridge and Bitshares/OpenLedger. It's nice to see an active development team working on the cryptocurrency, as it shows that it'll have a bright future ahead of it. As for x42, it could do well in the market if it attracts more people into it. Any crypto needs marketing/promotion (aside from active development) to be able to survive in this competitive space. As you've said before, we should look for coins with a solid foundation and active development team/community to obtain great results in our investment over the long term. There has been a few PoS coins which were abandoned by their devs, leaving many people bagholding useless cryptocurrencies. I myself, have been staking Paycoin (XPY) for a long time, even if it has been abandoned completely by their devs and community. There doesn’t exist an official site, forum, or even social media account related to the cryptocurrency. However, there's still some exchanges trading it, showing a small activity of trading each day. As such, it's not bad to stake a crypto if it's at least traded on a crypto exchange. I heard that there is a more modern technology called SPoS. Just read about the Sunny King project called VSYS.
Cool. It's nice to know that there's a new innovative PoS algorithm for other cryptocurrencies to use. Sunny King being the inventor of PoS with Peercoin, seems to be quite active in this space lately. I believe that the Peercoin cryptocurrency will last for a long time, due to its supportive founder and dedicated development team. These new approaches to PoS will make staking much secure and efficient than ever. Nonetheless, I'll be closely watching Sunny King's latest developments and Peercoin's progress over crypto land. The cryptocurrency seems to be quite undervalued these days, but it has potential for growth if many people notice its prospects. I really like hybrid projects, I think it brings together the best possibilities in a single project. I think Decred will one day be recognized and maybe even Peercoin will get attention.

Seems that POS coin is not that famous anymore
I've seen more and more people are into masternodes because it seems to have a better reward mechanism compare to POS
However it also requires more computer power to run tho

For me, there is no quality POS (not secure enough). Either they are masternodes / pow, or DPOS (but profitability <5%), or token exchange dividends.
So in my opinion, the best altcoins that generate passive profitability are:
- Smartcash: Ok it's not POS, but in terms of profitability it's 49%, which is really interesting especially in bearmarket. It takes 100k smartcash for 1 masternode currently.
- Zcoin: It's a masternode too. It takes 1.6 BTC for 1 masternode, it is one of the best anonymous crypto on the market. And the profitability is 20%. $ 300 of gain for 1 month
- Bibox token is also very interesting. It's a good future exchange. With very good network relational (Huobi among others). And we can lock these bibox token and then get paid every week in ETH. This makes it possible to reinvest directly in another altcoin since one gains them on the exchange. However, the profitability was better last year since the% is also calculated on the volume circulating on the exchange. And in this bearmarket, it's a little less good ..

I have seen many PoS coins decline in value over time, making your stakes less profitable than ever. However, even though this happens, there are a very few coins that prove to become worth to hold for the long term. Nevertheless, I would like to know which PoS would be best to invest into these days, according to market movement. I'm always on the look for good PoS coins to put my money into, and make my profits grow for the long term. that's ETH. we will not talk much about ETH's potential anymore, it is too obvious. Their PoS is about to be released and they are in the process of revising everything. According to what I know, PoS of ETH will work best compared to other altcoins. Using their credibility to exchange for promises, I think they will do well PoS and we should accumulate money to try their PoS experience. |

There are many different coins, but after I lost a fairly large amount of my money because of buying PoS coins, whose teams were weak and the prices of these coins dropped to almost zero, I began to choose coins more carefully for investment. I also noticed that low-emission coins are not getting cheaper as fast as high-emission coins. You should keep an eye on Moac because of their dual layer system that includes both Pow and PoS. They also allow dapp developers to choose their consensus mechanism

I still think that HotShot is one of the most promising PoS projects out there right now as they have recently launched their DEX, forum and now they are working on their online crypto casino which they hope to launch by the end of the year. There is a lot to look forward to with this project and that is why I have been accumulating slowly and also staking as its been doing well. By the way we can stake HTS on their DEX HotDex as well as a few other coins.

I made good money on Tulipmania coin. Check out their chart on Coinexchange. The best POS coin can depend on how fast you are. The are at 125%. Diverse is like 7000 percent and one day I got 22 million in one stake. Several multimillion coin stakes a week with not that much invested in it. I just use the stakes to buy more stable staking coins and some of the top 50 coins. No risk, no reward. But I wouldn't stand behind these coins.
In fact, some of the coins are run by dev teams who don't care at all about them. They'll kill the coin when they find they've made enough and care nothing about the people who are staking them besides themselves. You have to try to stay one step ahead of them.

Interesting. While none of these coins are PoS, they're still a great way to make some profit over the long term. Among the coins you've mentioned, I would choose Zcoin as my top pick of them all. It has a solid record of development being one of the first cryptocurrencies to implement and make use of Zero Knowledge Proofs. Considering that it relies on Masternodes technology, you'll be able to build your own passive income while fully supporting the Blockchain in many ways. Speaking of masternodes, there's a coin (called StakeNet) that uses such feature, but it's also PoS. The development team is highly active, and the community is very friendly. While it's still undervalued these days (probably because of the crypto bear market), it's a great entry-point to get into masternodes and staking at a discount. As of PoS coins, there's lot of them but some aren’t worth your investment. I believe that the best ones will be such that can deliver constant development, usage, and most of all, a steady rate of inflation that will prevent the price from becoming highly inexpensive within the market. So far, Peercoin seems to be the best PoS coin among them all because it has a dedicated community and development team, as well as, a steady inflation rate of 1% APR that prevents it from becoming worthless over time.
