If that would be the case, I would say that it is a very stupid way to choose the password.

I don't believe it is anything like that.

You don't know for sure what password they have used for their other systems.

And again I'm repeating myself, it would be a very stupid way to choose a password.

Are you working for Ebang, since you are so hard defending them?

Now, I'm not sure why you suddenly got this hostile attitude with me.  Huh

Folks who have been here a while know that I try to help my best with hardware problems, doing reviews to bring transparency in things, etc.

And I don't expect any money donations from doing it.

I'm not trying to create war with people here.

I would consider having an important password as a ssh password, a security vulnerability and change the password in other applications to be different then than the ssh password.

I just wanted to add that my latest eBit came with DHCP enabled.   It popped up on 192.168.1.x network and leased an address from the router.   Wireshark not needed.

soft_v6.0.20.42 is what it says. Sorry, I didn't see your 2 in there in the 2nd octet. Where'd you get that firmware?

Mine came also with DHCP enabled, however, it did not lease anything, that setting, for me, and apparently, others, doesn't seem to actually function. My two were hard wired to 192.168.180.57 and 192.168.140.91. Very random stuff.

My Ebang miners are behind a stateful firewall, I only allow from the inside to the outside the connections needed for the pool of my choice. From outside you can not get in. Management is through a VPN tunnel. They can put whatever in these miners they want, I just drop these connections.

Hi,

I wired the money for one miner on November 9.
The bank says the wire is ok, and Ivy still says she didn't receive the money.

Any clue how to resolve this?

Thanks

Sent them the receipt of your wire transfer, chinese Wire transfer is very sensitive to wrong letters in company name or similar issues in your wire transfer order.

already done + shared the reference.

Ivy still can't find the money.
Very weird also that they don't share their IBAN number.

I wired on 7Nov and Lynn confirmed within 2 days that they had it.  Indeed this is the most precarious part of the process with EBANG.
That's bad they can't see yours. Once the receiving bank has accepted, there is no way for you to claw it back, your at their mercy which sucks. It is possible they are stalling because they ran out of machines, the website says they are now sold out, it seems like something they may do. I'm not sure what I'd do if I were you, that sucks. My next move might be to call/communicate somehow with the receiving bank itself, no idea how that might be accomplished. But, my gut says, they're stalling, those wire transfers are iron clad, if anything is out of order, it just doesn't go thru, it doesn't go to some magic account in the sky. it either makes it, or, it doesn't. So, they have it.

Hey guys, got an order of 8 of these directly from ebang about a week ago. 6 of them are mining above 9 Th but two of them are mining around 5-6 Th. Those two also have the red connection light on the back blinking. Any idea as to why I am having this problem??

Thanks for your help!
