I don't think so. People treat bitcoin more as an investment. Bitcoin should first become stable to have a chance of overcoming paypal

No because paypal is a regulated platform where people can store their money in digital form. And we have seen most of online shopping websites accept paypal account. but no one till now accept bitcoin as a payment option. I don't think so. People treat bitcoin more as an investment. Bitcoin should first become stable to have a chance of overcoming paypal
I totally agree with you point that people are using bitcoin as an investment option to earn profit from it.bitcoin decentralize in nature so it can't overcome PayPal.

Do you think that sometime in the future, Bitcoin might overcome Paypal, as it scales in capacity and userbase over the years? We already have the ability to create our own marketplace with OpenBazaar, that uses Bitcoin as its payment method, so it should be no surprise that the combination of these two may be a fierce competition for both eBay and Paypal. Nevertheless, feel free to vote on the poll above and express your opinion about it, if desired. I think no,because in the first place paypal is an online payment manager which allows you to pay any item online. They are holding different kinds of currency which allows you to use it all over the world with legality which the bitcoin cannot give us from now.Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that allows you to pay with anonymity but it is the actual currency that should be converted to your local currency and it is not legal in all countries so I think no.

wish something would "overcome" PayPal. How they can get away with 6 month confirmation times, and call themselves "new Money" is beyond

Over time, I believe that the number of users that will use Paypal to send and receive money will gradually decrease, Bitcoin is obviously the best option to send and receive payment online, since transaction fees are much cheaper than Paypal.

Yes, the company of bitcoin will overcome and replace the paypal in this commercial industry. Bitcoin has a big potential to achieve this since they have a huge supports from the people if this thing happen, there is a big chance to consider bitcoin as a local currency.

Bitcoin has a high tendency of overcoming pay-pal, but for now paypal has covered large ground and grounded security under control as it is government backed up. As bitcoin is spreads and as long as it can maintain invulnerability.it will supersede bitcoin.

I think not necessarily bitcoin, but crypto, will be our new financial system and so yes, it will also replace paypal. More importantly though, it will replace banks and major financial institutions.
I see your opinion very well. I think Bitcoin is not comparable to Paypal at the moment. But in the future, Bitcoin or some altcoin in the Cryptocurrency market will gradually form and exist alongside Paypal. As before, people were trading in cash mainly. Since the creation of Paypal, both forms of trading have been in parallel. Therefore, with the advantage of the Cryptocurrency market, we believe that Bitcoin or altcoin will be a widely accepted form of transaction.

I do belive that will be a huge yes, Paypal are having the way too much limits on users which is not welcomed at all. But with Bitcoin, people are free to do whatever they like but just make sure that you protect your money well from the hackers.

Yes it will, Paypal is not available in all countries. But bitcoin is available. Though online markets doesn't accepts bitcoin so much till now, but it will one
day. Bitcoin can grow and is more popular than paypal, but it can never replace paypal. Because of their different nature, bitcoin is the virtual currency of
technology, and paypal represents the real money. We can not compare their strength. So, do not assert anything between bitcoin and paypal.

I think the current goal is for overtaking visa and debit cards. Paypal isn't much big of a target and Paypal is just online while we are targeting retails too. Although we have a long way to go I would say with lightning network implemented we will be able to scale big.

maybe bitcoin can overcome paypal in their system and their security, because as we know that paypal have the bad security and bad system than bitcoin, in bitcoin we have blockchain to be a place to save our bitcoin, in paypal maybe they just have an ordinary database and it will hacked someday. in bitcoin we have the transparent transaction in paypal we dont have it so its a plus point that we have than paypal. so i think maybe bitcoin can overcome the paypal

If this year bitcoin marketcap reaches more than $ 1 trillion it can be ascertained that bitcoin overcome paypal, the main strength of paypal is accepted by all countries and banks because it has a clear legalization, while bitcoin still get contradictions and controversy.
